About
After an impressive two-year stint with Shillong Lajong FC, Lyngdoh returned to Rangdajied United and before long made his Hero I-League debut. Bengaluru FC recognized his potential and drafted him in 2014 and this Meghalaya player did not disappoint, doing well in both the Durand Cup and Federation Cup. Lyngdoh created history by scoring Bengaluru's first goal in the AFC Champions League Qualifiers. He was also awarded the 2014-15 Hero I-League's best midfielder. Lyngdoh also made his debut for India in the FIFA World Cup pre-qualifier match against Nepal and consequently cemented his place in the national squad as coach Stephen Constantine's first choice central midfielder. Though an injury cut short his stint with ATK last season, he would want to give it his all in the 2018-19 season.
