Sporting defeat Ronit SC 19-0 in GFA U-18 League
Princeton Rebello and Trijoy Das scored 8 and 4 goals respectively...
Sporting Clube de Goa whipped 19 past Ronit Sports Club in a GFA U-18 League match played at Don Bosco, Panjim. In an absolute carnage Mizio Peixote (7'), Joyson Gauncar (14'), Joyston Cardozo (15', 49'), Trijoy Dias (21',26',37' & 70'), Princeton Rebello (40', 48', 53', 59',61',65',72' & 75'), Joy Hilario (76' & 80') & Joytion Fernandes (78') got on the score sheet for Sporting.
It took mere 7 minutes for the young oranje to open the floodgates when Mizio netted a neat corner leaping above his marker, in the 14th minute another dangerous shot from Mizio came off the Ronit keeper only to be tapped in by Joyson from a close range. Joyston grabbed the third with a brilliant solo run on the right to place it past a charging keeper.
Trijoy Dias who was a silent watcher until now joined the party with a quick-fire hat-trick scoring his first and third from a close range on the left while tapping in a good cross from Princeton for his second. Just before the break, Princeton latched on to a through ball from Sangram to put his name on the score sheet with a 30-yard screamer. The score stayed 7 - 0 at half-time.

Sporting skipper Princeton added his second in the 48th minute when he made a dazzling 35-yard run shredding apart the Ronit SC defense to place a perfect ball past the keeper. In less than a minute, Joyston added one more making it 9 - 0 in favour of Sporting.
The Oranje skipper Princeton continued to toy with the Ronit SC players adding another 6 goals taking his personal tally to 8 in the match. Joy Hilario added two while Joytion Fernandes and Trijoy added one towards the end taking Sporting's tally to a whopping 19 goals. With this win, Sporting has collected 9 points from 4 matches.
