Madhya Bharat Sports Club in association with Celtic FC have organized more opportunities for budding players thanks to the tremenous response...

After receiving a tremendous response after the first leg of trials and incessant requests from all over the nation, Madhya Bharat Sports Club, in association with the Celtic Soccer Academy has decided to give prospective players and aspirants another chance to be a part of the Academy. The club has arranged a trial at LNCT College, Raisen Road, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. The trial starts at 8 AM IST.

The club is looking at challengers for the U-13, U-15 and U-18 team that has recently reached the quarter-finals of the Bhopal DFA League with two wins and four draws. Two players from the camp, Affan Khan and Aviral Toppo have already been selected for the Madhya Pradesh State U-14 camp.

In the first phase of trials which took place in several Indian states like Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Guwahati, Nagpur and Bhopal to unearth new talent, 118 players were selected to become a part of the Celtic Soccer Academy. The players have diligently trained under the watchful eyes of Coach Jose Hevia ever since and have developed immensely under the former FC Pune City coach.

Madhya Bharat Sports Club CEO Rishish Dubey said, "We have received a huge response in the first phase of trials. The plan in the first place was to go with the same, but there have been requests in huge numbers, which makes us open our doors once again to welcome new talents. We are confident that some new exciting talent will come up again and we'll get better with these additions. We welcome kids from all around to country to grab the last chance to be a part of the Celtic Soccer Academy."

The club has a positive scholarship program in place, with 5 students getting a 100% scholarship, 75% to 6 players and 50% to 20 players. A 15% scholarship has been awarded to all the other selected players. There were more than 90 youngsters who took part in the last trial at Bhopal. The candidates are expected to bring their certificates along with them when they come down for the trials.
