The away side has a one-goal advantage

Asia’s premier footballing club championship, the AFC Champions League (ACL) will host the second leg of its grand finale on May 25th at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in the UAE. Home side Al Ain will play host to former Japanese champions Yokohama F. Marinos.

The City Football Group owned Japanese outfit will have the upper hand coming into the game having won the first leg 2-1 at home and will be keen to maximize their advantage come Saturday. But, standing in their way will be giant killers Al Ain who have knocked out Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr and Neymar’s Al Hilal to map their way into the final.

Sunday, May 25, 04:00 PM GMT

Yokohama FM (in all competitions) D-L-W-L-D

Players to watch

Soufiane Rahimi (Al-Ain)

The Moroccan international has been a very consistent and key performer for the UAE-based side. His playmaking and high-pressing abilities help Al-Ain dominate proceedings in the middle of the park. He has been a driving force for his side in the AFC Champions League and has played a crucial role in their run to the final. He has more than 20 goal contributions to show for his efforts this season.

Yan Matheus (Yokohama F. Marinos)

The striker has been in really good form for his side. The Brazilian target man is one of the major reasons behind his side’s magical AFC Champions League form. He has racked up around eighth goal contributions this season in the ACL, including crucial contributions in the semi-finals and the final. He is Yokohama’s best man up front and will surely look to cause more damage to Al-Ain on Saturday.
