Two West Ham players are in the final squad
The Czech Republic national football team have announced their final 26-man roster for the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament. The nation will be led by Ivan Hasek who has been at the helm since January.
In the 2024 UEFA European Championship Qualifiers, the Czech Republic were clubbed in Group E alongside Albania, Poland, Moldova and the Faroe Islands. After eight group games, they tallied a total of 15 points on the table. The nation ended up tying themselves level on points with Albania, but the latter had a better goal difference.
With a second-place finish, they were allowed to enter the main competition, the Euro 2024. After the draw in Hamburg, Germany, the Czech Republic found the names of their opponent.
They are in Group F with 2016 Euro winners Portugal, Georgia and Türkiye. On matchday 1, Národní tým will be taking on the Portugal national football team at Red Bull Arena Leipzig on June 19.

Soucek’s 2023-24 league season had 37 appearances with seven goals and two assists. The star man up top will be Patrik Schick of Bayer Leverkusen. Schick has popped up with important goals for the German club in their historic run of winning the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal this season.
