Jose Mourinho agrees to join Turkish club Fenerbahce on two-year contract

According to reports, Jose Mourinho and Fenerbahce have agreed to a two-year contract. As per Gianluca Di Marzio, the Portuguese manager will take over Ismail Kartal at the Turkish powerhouse, marking his eleventh managerial position.
Following Fenerbache’s third consecutive year of finishing second in the Turkish Super Lig, Mourinho takes over as manager from the Turkish. After being fired by Roma in January, it is thought that Mourinho will make a comeback to the game. He had been out of the game for 2.5 years.
Jose Mourinho was reportedly targeted by the Saudi Arabian team Al Qadsiah, but it appears that Turkey is his next stop.
The 61-year-old coach will be present on TNT Sports for the Champions League final on Saturday, June 1st, it was announced just one day ago.
The Special One had expressed interest in returning to management and looks to have secured a job after five months out of the game.
In an interview with MBC Egypt, he previously stated that he could see himself coaching in Saudi Arabia in the future.

He said: ‘I will go to Saudi Arabia in some free time, but I am convinced that I will work there.
‘I don’t know when, but I am pretty sure of it. No one knows the future, but I will definitely do this. Doors are always open for me in Saudi Arabia. I want to feel the development there.’
The time does not appear to have arrived yet, though, as Fener is scheduled to travel to Turkey after finishing second in the league with a massive 99 points, three points behind their fierce rivals Galatasaray.
Mourinho, whose resume speaks for itself, will be entrusted with restoring grandeur to Istanbul.
