Reus failed to win the Champions League after a 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid
According to several reports, Marco Reus and LA Galaxy are reportedly in advanced talks, suggesting that Reus is ready to join the team.
Marco Reus is ready to move on to the next phase of his career after spending 12 seasons with Borussia Dortmund. There has been much talk of his moving to Major League Soccer, and it appears like the LA Galaxy may be his next stop.
Numerous reports state that the 35-year-old is in advanced negotiations to sign a free transfer with the MLS’s biggest clubs.
After obtaining Reus’ discovery rights, Charlotte FC had earlier taken the lead in the competition for his signature. However, the Athletic claims that LA Galaxy have now acquired those rights after coming to a deal with Charlotte FC.
The article also states that Reus won’t have the opportunity to earn over $1.7 million in wages because LA Galaxy’s designated player spots are already full, therefore salary may prove to be a sticking point.

It’s also rumoured that clubs from Europe and Saudi Arabia have made proposals for Reus, who is expected to decide on his next move shortly. The attacking midfielder, who failed to help BVB win the Champions League in his last season with the team, has an intriguing future ahead of him.
Reus will depart Borussia Dortmund having had an amazing career, finishing as the team’s second-highest goal scorer and fourth-highest appearance maker ever.
Reus will join Roman Bürki, his former colleague at Borussia Dortmund, in the Major League Soccer (MLS) if the move to LA Galaxy is approved. Bürki is the captain of the Western Conference team, St. Louis City SC.
