The Magpies have slapped £100 million value on Alexander Isak
Newcastle United are expecting bids for Alexander Isak for £100 million from Arsenal and Tottenham.
The London teams have been forewarned by Toon manager Eddie Howe that their star scorer is not for sale. Isak, 23, scored two penalties in Saturday’s 4-3 victory over West Ham to bring his season. With his direct running style and keen goal-seeking ability, he has swiftly emerged as a fan favourite since Toon gave Real Sociedad a club-record £60 million in 2022.However, worries about Newcastle having to cash in to get around FFP regulations persist, particularly if they remain inside of the European spots.
Furthermore, it will be difficult to turn down sizable offers from Champions League teams. Isak acknowledged during the international break that:
“if things show up, things can happen”. But Howe insists he is off limits, saying: “He’s an outstanding talent and no one connected with Newcastle would want to lose him.”
