Miguel Almiron will miss a month with a knee injury
After the match against Everton, Eddie Howe, the manager of Newcastle United, has stated that three of his injured players will be sidelined for extended periods of time.
Miguel Almiron, Kieran Trippier, and Tino Livramento were all ruled out of Tuesday’s 1-1 draw at St. James’ Park (2 April). According to Keith Downie of Sky Sports via X on April 2, Howe has given an update on the injuries of his three first-team players.
Although it’s not the victory that fans will be aching for, Dominic Calvert Lewin’s last-second penalty eliminated Alexander Isak’s opening goal for the home team. Still, it’s a commendable point given their current circumstances.
“Tino Livramento (ankle) & Miguel Almiron (knee) both set to be out for a month through injury. Kieran Trippier missing for Fulham on Saturday definitely, says Eddie Howe.”
But given the injury that their rivals had to contend with prior to the game, Dyche, his players, and the Toffees’ supporters may feel extremely fortunate.
If Howe had been given access to a minimum of one or two of those players, the outcome may have been different. Dyche will be happy that he left St. James’ Park with an improbable point that could have been vital to his team’s Premier League survival. In other Everton news, Dyche has come under fire for what a pundit saw during the game against Newcastle.

Given his previous performance, Howe will find it extremely difficult to bench the winger, who has to start in the Premier League for the first time since a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth in February.
With two goals and one assist in his eight games versus Everton in the English premier league, Barnes has an outstanding record. The winger has been on the winning side twice.
All things taken into account, Barnes may be the difference between a victory tonight and nothing happening for Newcastle in the final third, therefore the wideman ought to start.
