3. 1994-95 season ( 1195 goals scored )

It was also called the FA Carling Premiership and was the third season of the FA Premier League. Blackburn Rovers managed to win their first league title and it was their 3rd English title. The season also saw 1195 goals scored at a 2.59 goals per match ratio. The number of Premier League clubs in that season was reduced from 22 to 20. 4 teams suffered relegation in that season.

2. 1992-93 season ( 1222 goals scored )

It was the first season of the Premier League. 22 clubs participated in that season. Manchester United managed to win the competition and their 8th in top-flight English football. 462 matches were played in that season and it had witnessed 1222 goals scored at 2.65 goals per match ratio.

The latest concluded season features at number 1 in the list with the most goals scored. It was the 32nd season of the English Premier League and Manchester City managed to win the title. 380 matches were played in this season and it featured 1223 goals scored at 3.28 goals per match ratio.
