Balatro crossover in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

One of the best parts and probably the most highlighted thing in this patch is the introduction to Balatro Trinket. This will be available to both Naoe and Yasuke, named ‘Winning Hand’.

This trinket inflicts ailments on combo enders, providing another element of strategy to fight.

However, Ubisoft has not divulged how to earn it, instead encouraging users to “work together to figure out how to get it.”

This will add a new mystery and element for the exploration, perfect for both fans of the game.

Patch 1.0.5 Details

This new update has with download size that varies on platforms: PS5 (3.31 GB), Xbox Series X/S (19 GB), Mac (9 GB), PC (13 GB), and Steam (4.3 GB).

Thrown to the Dogs Quest Unlocked

With this update, all players will have access to the pre-order bonus quest, “Thrown to the Dogs.”

This early-game quest, available after “From Spark to Flame,” tasks you with helping a loyal dog avenge his master and unlocking Tsuki-maru as a pet for your Hideout. Find it at Tennoji Temple, outside Osaka.

Dead by Daylight Event

Another popular event for the fans and players. In this event, Naoe investigates disappearing villagers and confronts otherworld threats and enemies.

You can access this free quest from the Hideout after unlocking Yasuke.

Completing it earns you a free trinket and banner, with more cosmetic options available in the store, including clothing, weapons, and the steed Maurice.

Parkour Improvements

One of the best features of Assassin’s Creed games is getting a major improvement after players’ feedback.

• New Vertical Jump: Both characters may now jump and grasp ledges, awnings, and overhangs, which reduces the need for vertical wall runs. Simply hit the jump button near low overhangs.
• Sprint Toggle Lock: Sprinting will no longer disengage during Parkour Up or Down if directional inputs are maintained.
• Back and side ejects have been improved by increasing the distance and height, as well as adding new animations to help Naoe stay high during parkour.

Bug Fixes and Balancing

Many bugs and balancing issues will be done in the latest Assassin’s Creed Shadows 1.0.5 update:

• Fixed persistent new item notifications and level 60 save file issues.
• Romance and localization problems have been fixed.
• Rebalanced the Mon economy to favor exploration rather than commercial purchases.
• Addressed quest advancement difficulties, such as “Wolves and Foxes” and “Diary of Lady Rokkaku.”
• Improved Hideout stability and corrected visual problems, such as enormous NPCs in towns.
• Xbox platform-specific changes include restoring Balanced Performance Mode and fixing input difficulties.
