Clair Obscur Expedition 33 hits 2 million copies sold mark in 12 days

Sandfall Interactive has just announced that Clair Obscur Expedition 33 has sold 2 million copies in just 12 days.

For a small studio with its first game, this is a mark of great success. There is no doubt that they delivered one of the best turn-based RPGs games of all time.

New mark for Sandfall Interactive

Just a few days ago, we saw Clair Obscur Expedition 33 hitting the 1 million copies sold mark in just three days.

Now they have finally hit the 2 million mark as well in just 12 days and are heading towards the 3 million mark. The game has been on a rising trend so far.

Two days ago, it also crossed its previous all-time peak on Steam and hit an all-time peak with 129,461 concurrent players on Steam.

Even having a tough competition with the old classic Oblivion Remastered, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 was truly a dark horse.

Developed by only 30-33 ex-developers from Ubisoft and delivering one of the best turn-based RPGs of all time is no small feat.

From top-class storytelling, with amazing and mindblowing graphics & environments, to phenomenal characters with deep emotions and addictive turn-based combat.

The game has everything and the best part was that it was a $50 game, which put many big gaming companies and their heavily priced title to shame.

Also, don’t forget about the Clair Obscur Expedition 33 amazing soundtrack, which will give you goosebumps every time you hear it.

Fans are now very interested and want to see what more Sandfall Interactive has to offer next. For now, the writer of the game has already teased about the DLC.

It would also be interesting to see whether Sandfall will keep the same approach with a real-time interactive turn-based combat system in their next game as well or not.
