Rhythm gamers are quite popular and the Japanese developer Taito has recently revealed that their upcoming game Groove Coaster Future Performers is releasing on July 31, 2025.
This game will be released on Nintendo Switch in Japan. This new game takes a promising new take on the world of rhythm games.
Brand-new rhythm experience with Groove Coaster Future Performers
Unlike the original game, this sequel is a complete major overhaul. This has been redesigned from scratch.
Players will get new controls, music scores, and a captivating worldview. You will also be able to choose between ‘basic’ and ‘advanced’ control play styles. This has been done considering the new players and the seasoned warriors.
The wide-screen landscape mode improves visual immersion, transforming your favorite songs into a music video-style spectacle.

What can fans expect?
Groove Coaster Future Performers has an impressive lineup of songs, which features popular J-POP, VTuber hits, Vocaloid tunes, Touhou arrangements, and more, ensuring a diverse soundtrack.
There is also a story mode added this time, which will feature voice characters like Reiji Kawashima, Ayane Sakura, Shirakami Fubuki, and Sakura Miko. There are many others who will join later.
