Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2 Season 3 update - New map, enemies & more

Saber Interactive has once again hyped the whole community and fans by rolling out an exciting update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 with the arrival of Season 3 in February 2025.

This will introduce many new game content, enhancements, new map and many other things. Let’s check out more details in this article.

News upcoming updates in Space Marine 2

Tomb PvP Map:

Introducing “Tomb,” a new PvP map on Demerium situated in the narrow and perilous tunnels of a Necron tomb. This map is intended for close-quarters fighting, but it does have spaces for larger conflicts that require strategic play to avoid ambushes and blind spots.

New PvE Enemy – Biovore:

The Biovore, a new Extremis danger, will confront players on Tyranid battlefields. It is known for its capacity to hurl deadly Spore Mines, which adds tactical intricacy to PvE confrontations.

Raven Guard Chapter Pack:

The Raven Guard is introduced in the update with the MK VI “Corvus” helmet, which comes with unique Chapter-specific trinkets to improve the appearance of your space marine.

Datavault and Ordeals:

The Battle Barge will expand with the Datavault, allowing players to complete “Ordeals” across all game modes to gain various game details and new cosmetics. Surviving higher-level operations and learning new warfare skills are examples of challenges in Space Marine 2.

Quality of Life Updates

• FOV Slider: After many requests, PC players will now have a Field of View slider in version 6.0, tailored for different display ratios such as 16:9, 21:9, and 32:9.
• PvP Cross-Play Toggle: Console gamers can now select whether to participate in cross-play with PC players, giving them greater choice over their gaming experience.
• Cosmetics Sharing: A new feature will allow players to share the same cosmetic look from PvE to PvP, including patterns, decreasing the need to replicate clothes across modes.
• New Difficulty – Absolute: For those who have completed Lethal Operations, Absolute difficulty awaits, along with exclusive cosmetic goodies such as a new pauldron and bloodstained dagger.
• Perk Reworks: Season 3 will also include tweaks to perks, with promises of additional changes in future updates.

Additional Enhancements:

• New finisher animations for Rubric Marines, Zoanthropes, and Scarab Occult Terminators will make combat more visually engaging.
• Players can now trade Armoury Data for Requisition Points, which opens up new resource management options in Space Marine 2.
