Everyone’s eyes will be on Mohit Goyat and Aslam Inamdar possible comeback.

Jaipur Pink Panthers is set to take on Puneri Paltan in the finals of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 9. Both the teams have played consistently throughout the league scoring 82 points and 80 points respectively after the end of 22 matches. Pune has beaten Jaipur twice in the league stages and Jaipur will look to break the streak and win the title for the second time after winning the inaugural edition.

The league toppers will be the favourites going ahead into the finals. Coach Sanjeev Baliyan doesn’t have much work to do and shall go in with the same starting 7 as in the semifinals. If Rahul Chaudhari doesn’t perform well then there might be chances of Bhavani Rajput sneaking in as a substitute or playing with an extra defender strengthening the defence based on the situation.

Puneri Paltan

Puneri Paltan will most likely not have the services of Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat but the team has a good backup with the likes of Pankaj Mohite stepping in at crucial junctures. Gaurav Khatri will once again start in the playing 7 after scoring four tackle points ahead of right corner defender Sombir. Nabibaksh will have the extra responsibility of being the tertiary raider and helping Fazel Atrachali in the defence.
