On Shivam Patare and Vinay’s performance in PKL 11

The league leaders delivered a commanding performance, led by Shivam Patare and Vinay, who kept the opposition at bay with their stellar raids and sharp defensive plays. From the outset, the Steelers showcased their intent as Patare and Vinay put early pressure on the Tamil Thalaivas.

“I am so happy for Shivam and Vinay that they are scoring 200-300 points. I want them to do more because they are very talented and capable of doing so much more,” said Haryana coach Manpreet Singh.

On Naveen’s performance against Sachin Tanwar and Tamil Thalaivas

Their defence, led by Rahul Sethpal and Naveen, neutralized key raiders like Sachin Tanwar and Moein Shafaghi, giving the Steelers a 13-10 edge at halftime.

“What Naveen did today, playing against a 2.15 cr-worth player, one knows that when talent speaks others are left watching. He played very well for the team today, he is a perfect all-rounder and is a very special player,” Manpreet Singh added.

On Sachin Tanwar’s poor performance

While the Thalaivas relied heavily on Nitesh Kumar’s defensive efforts, Sachin’s lackluster showing with zero points in seven raids hurt their chances.

“The fact that Sachin Tanwar is not bringing points for us, that is where we are lacking. If he brings points and the defence plays well, then things will be better for us”, said Tamil Thalaivas’s coach.
