PKL Auction 12: Yogesh Dahiya becomes latest crorepati, gets signed by Bengaluru Bulls

Yogesh Dahiya played for Dabang Delhi last season.
Yogesh Dahiya will play for a new team in the upcoming season, as he was bought by Bengaluru Bulls at the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) auction for 1.125 crore after a fierce bidding war.
Bengal Warriorz started the proceedings with 30 lakhs, followed by Bengaluru Bulls. U Mumba soon joined the party, and it was an intense bidding war between the three teams. Soon, the bid crossed 50 lakhs, and then U Mumba backed off. Patna Pirates then entered at 87 lakhs, setting the stage for a fierce bidding war with Bengaluru Bulls.
Yogesh then crossed the 1 crore mark and became the second crorepati after Mohammadreza Shadloui in the PKL Auction season 12. The intense battle ended with the Bengaluru Bulls as the winner for 1.125 crores. However, Dabang Delhi, the former team of Yogesh, didn’t use their FBM on him which means that Yogesh will play with a new jersey this season.
Bengaluru Bulls have now locked in their corner defence, forming a formidable duo of Yogesh Dahiya and Ankush Rathee. Both defenders featured in the top 10 list of defenders last season, and their pairing is expected to pose a significant threat to opposition raiders. With the corners now set for Bengaluru Bulls, they can target top raiders and will look to solidify their team.
