Most of the Transfer windows are have closed now and we bring you a round-up of all activities.

The crazy European Summer Transfer Window finally came to an end last week and an insane couple of months it were! The transfer window proved how severe the inflation has been in today's transfer market as records were broken and A LOT of money was paid for players, regardless of how important they are. Over 1 billion dollars were only spent by the English Premier League clubs with the usual suspects in the Manchester Clubs, Chelsea and Liverpool being accompanied by some "smaller" clubs like Stoke City, Crystal Palace, Everton and West Bromwich Albion also making some stunning acquisitions.

The Italian Serie A also saw a lot of transfer activity this season as the newly cash-heavy AC Milan showed their financial strength under their new Chinese owners in the summer and almost signed a completely new starting XI for themselves while defending champions Juventus also made some exciting attacking signings. This transfer window shockingly turned out to be a dull one for the La Liga clubs, with Real Madrid only making a few small-time acquisitions and Barcelona being in complete shambles despite signing Ousmane Dembele for a record fee. Atletico Madrid's transfer ban also affected their chances of boosting their squad as well as setting up a domino in the transfer activity of many other clubs.

But the biggest spenders in the window were Paris Saint Germain, who stunned everyone by signing Brazilian star Neymar for an unprecedented €220 million from Barcelona to make a statement to the whole world. But they weren't done with that, and also managed to sign Kylian Mbappe on a loan from rivals AS Monaco and they have an obligation to sign him next season for around €180 million. PSG destroyed the apparent myth of the "Financial Fair Play" fines and proved that when you have the moolah, you have the power.

The French clubs' rivals in AS Monaco lost many of their stars in the summer, including Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy to Manchester City for €50 million and €57.5 million respectively. The Ligue 1 Champions did reinforce themselves really well by signing Stevan Jovetic for an impressive €10  million and Lazio winger Keita Balde at the region of €30 million. They also signed Anderlecht wonder-kid Youri Tielemans for around €25 million.

The English Premier League clubs showed the limit of their financial strength this summer as Jose Mourinho's Manchester United decided to do their business early on. The Red Devils reinforced their defense by signing centre back Victor Lindelof from Benfica for around €35 million but later went onto make their blockbuster signing in Romelu Lukaku for an estimated fee of €85 million and the deal also saw club captain Wayne Rooney going back to Everton. Mourinho was also reunited with another one of his players at Chelsea in Nemanja Matic, who arrived at United for around €40 million.

Premier League Champions Chelsea were hit hard when their prime target Lukaku joined their rivals but brought in Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata for €80million to bolster their strike-force. After seeing their club captain John Terry leave in the summer, the Blues also had to reinforce their defense and did so by signing German defender Antonio Rudiger for around £29 million from AS Roma. The Blues also signed AS Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko for around £40 million, as well as making a couple of deadline day deals by signing Danny Drinkwater from Leceister City for close to £35 million and Torino right-back Davide Zappacosta for £28 million.

Manchester City continued to prove their financial prowess with the signings of Silva and Mendy as well as further improving their full-back situation by signing Kyle Walker from Spurs for €56 million and Danilo from Real Madrid for £26.5 million. They also signed goalkeeper Ederson from Benfica for €40million, making him the most expensive goalkeeper of all time.

Liverpool also had a rather enjoyable transfer window as they signed Mohammed Salah from AS Roma for €42 million and a stunning deadline day coup in Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal for €38 million. The Reds also brought Andrew Robertson for £8 million and Naby Keita from RP Leipzig for a whopping €70 million, but the player will join next season. Arsenal had a decent start to their transfer window after signing left-back Saed Kolasinac on a free and bolstering their attack with the signature of French Striker Alexandre Lacazette for €60 million, but couldn't capitalize on it and barely hung onto frustrated star Alexis Sanchez in the end.

Tottenham Hotspur bolstered their defense by signing Serge Aurier from PSG for around £23m and Ajax defender Davinson Sanchez for around £42 million. Spurs also signed Spanish striker Fernando Llorente from Swansea for an undisclosed fee. Everton were big spenders this time, as they broke the club record by signing Gylfi Sigurdsson for around £40million, as well as signing goalkeeper Jordan Pickford for £30 million from Sunderland and defender Michael Keane for £25 million. West Ham United also spent big in the market and roped in some big talents in the summer, including Javier Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen for £16million, Marko Arnautovic on an undisclosed fee as well as former Manchester City players Pablo Zabaleta and Joe Hart on a free transfer and loan deal respectively.

The German Bundesliga saw defending champions Bayern Munich stamping their authority in the transfer market in the summer, as they further improved their midfield by signing Corentin Tolisso for €41.5 million from Lyon. Bayern also signed German midfielder Niklas Sule from Hoffenheim for €20 million but their biggest transfer was Colombian star James Rodriguez from Real Madrid, who joins on a loan deal with Bayern having an obligation to buy him for around €30 million. The Italian clubs surprised many by spending a lot of money in this transfer window as rising giants AC Milan had a lot of work to do in the summer and were backed with a huge transfer-kit this time. Their blockbuster signing shocked the world with the Rossoneri signing Leonardo Bonucci from rivals Juventus for around €42 million.

They also signed prominent Portuguese striker Andre Silva for around €38 million, wing-back Andrea Conti for €25 million, playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu for €22 million as well as an array of other talented players. Juventus also made their own statement by signing some brilliant attacking talents in Federico Bernardeshi for €35 million from Fiorentina and signing Douglas Costa on a loan from Bayern Munich. The defending champions also managed a coup of sorts by signing PSG mainstay Blaise Matuidi for â‚¬20 million.

The Bianconeri also signed defenders Mattia De Sciglio from Milan for €12 million and Benedikt Howedes from Schalke on a loan with an option to buy next season for €13 million. AS Roma also made a real coup by replacing Salah with Sampdoria star Patrik Schick on a loan with an obligation to buy later on as well as getting back Aleksander Kolarov from Manchester City for €5 million. Inter Milan made some shrewd signings in getting Sampdoria defender Milan Skriniar for €23 million and talented Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino from Fiorentina for €24 million.

The two Spanish giants in Real Madrid and Barcelona weren't that active in the transfer market as they are usually with Champions Real Madrid only signing Theo Hernandez from Atletico Madrid (who couldn't sign anybody due to a transfer ban) for €30 million and Dani Ceballos from Real Betis for around €16.5 million. Valencia made some impressive signings by getting Geoffrey Kondogbia on a loan along with Andreas Perreira from Manchester United and also signing Goncalo Guedes on loan from PSG.

Sevilla also got some really good transfer business done in the summer, signing stars like Nolito and Jesus Navas from Manchester City for €9million. They also made a smart signing in Luis Muriel from Sampdoria for €20m, as well as signing Danish defender Simon Kjaer for €12.5million.

Spanish Giants Barcelona found themselves in a terrible spot after losing Neymar to PSG, and they signed defender Nelson Semedo from Benfica for €30.5 million and a surprising midfield acquisition in Paulinho from GZ Evergrande for €40 million. They broke the bank to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Ousmane Dembele for a record fee of €105 million but failed to sign Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool with many fans left doubting the incompetent board for failing to secure more targets.
