The national capital outfit climbs to 8th position after a run of 7 points in 3 games.
It was an absolute cracker of a dead rubber in the national capital as home side Delhi Dynamos scripted a valiant comeback after being 1-3 down against ATK and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, winning the game 4-3. Irish talisman Robbie Keane’s brace was cancelled out by a late Dynamos’ charge as Kalu Uche netted on either side of the interval.
Watch: Delhi Dynamos 4-3 ATK highlights
Here’s how we rated the Indian players’ performances from the game last night.
Delhi Dynamos
Pritam Kotal- 6.5
The Delhi right back turned up against his former employers. He put in a full shift of hard work; made vital tackles and clearances to stop the ATK frontline; swung his legs at a few shots himself and ended up on the winning side.
Rowlinson Rodrigues: 6.0
The Goa-born defender formed a centre-half partnership with Gabriel Cichero. In a game dominated by forwards, Rodrigues made his experiences count as Delhi applied resistance to ATK’s pressing play and didn’t allow them to dominate in their own box.
Sena Ralte: 5.5
It was not a promising outing for the Mizo left back. He was outdone by ATK’s Robbie Keane and Sibongakonke Mbatha on a few occasions and did very little to stop their tyrant strides up the pitch.
Vinit Rai: 6.5
Vinit Rai's mistake could have been fatal for Delhi Dynamos
The Assam lad had a decent game overall, except that he was a bit rash with his physical challenges. His tackle on Robbie Keane earned ATK a free kick just outside the box, which Keane scored. As always, he created nice link up channels between the Delhi backline and the forwards.
Seityasen Singh: 8.0
For Delhi Dynamos last night, Seityasen Singh was almost in the centre of everything. His 69th minute assist to Kalu Uche helped the home side to reduce the deficit. The Manipuri midfielder himself entered the scoresheet a couple of minutes later via a Chhangte assist. It was a test of his tremendous work rate and fitness as he whipped in crosses after crosses at ease past the ATK bodies.
Seityasen Singh brought parity with this tap in!
The ‘pocket rocket’ showed his class once again as coach Miguel Portugal decided to field him in the starting XI. He worked the ball around really well and fed in crucial crosses to the likes of Kalu Uche, Mirabaje and Arana. Seityasen Singh tapped in Chhangte’s delightful assist to bring Delhi on level terms.
Substitutes:
Mohammad Dhot: 6.0
Dhot came in for Gabriel Cichero in the 61st minute and held his nerves quite well until the final whistle. He hardly gave away possession and stayed true to the coaches’ philosophy.

ATK
Soram Poirei: 5.5
It was only the 3rd start for the ATK goalie. The Manipuri shot stopper couldn’t make the most of this opportunity as he leaked 4 goals last night. He has now conceded 8 times in 3 games.
Soram kept ATK in the game on many occasions
Ashutosh Mehta: 6.5
Demonstrated great defensive mentality, made some vital tackles and clearances during the game. Equally aggressive on the counter; broke free and dug in well-timed crosses inside the Delhi box couple of times.
Anwar Ali: 6.0
Despite a hard-fought game, Ali was unlucky to end on the losing side. He was sloppy on certain occasions; his inability to clear the ball away in the 23rd minute invite Kalu Uche to score and Delhi drew first blood. He did a similar goof up at the hour mark but Ashutosh covered up for him to deny Seityasen Singh.
Keegan Pereira: 6.0
Had very minimal role to play throughout the game. Made some important clearances.
Shankar Sampingraj: 6.5
Hailing from the Kolar Gold Fields of Karnataka, he cantered the ATK midfield passing the ball well alongside Ryan Taylor and Conor Thomas. Bit untidy in the eyes of the referee, he helped his side maintain the 2-goal cushion but only until the 69th minute.
ISL Recap - Delhi Dynamos vs ATK
Jayesh Rane: 5.5
This man had an average outing in Delhi last night. Couldn’t create chances and was immediately dispossessed by the Dynamos midfield. Was taken off in the 78th minute.
Substitutes:
Hitesh Sharma: 6.0
Replaced Ryan Taylor in only the 23rd minute of the game who pulled his hamstring. Stood true to his responsibilities and also contributed to the team on defensive duties.
Bipin Singh: NA
Replaced Jayesh Rane in the 78th minute. Not much of a match changing performance to boast of.
