NEUFC Fan Park at Sarusajai stadium to host band performances, games, laser shows
The Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium will host the home matches of NorthEast United FC from October 1st onwards.
With just a few days left for the kick-off of the season 5 of the Indian Super League, NorthEast United FC, in association with Guwahati-based event management company Aucto Creation, announced a special Fan Park for the football lovers of the region.
Upping the fan-connect this season, a special NEUFC Fan Park is being set up for the first time in ISL history, by Aucto Creation at the Sarusajai Sports Complex on every match day, wherein fans can enjoy a series of activities before the start of the ISL matches. The special NEUFC Fan Park will be inaugurated on October 1.
“Starting October 1, the NEUFC Fan Park within the Sarusajai stadium premises will become the de-facto destination for the diehard fans. It’s designed as a Day-Out Carnival destination for friends and families where sports, entertainment, food and fun will blend together to give an unmatched experience to the football lovers. The Fan Park will remain open every match-day at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium from 3 pm to 6.30pm,” said Rajib Kalita, founder of Aucto Creation. Kalita added that a valid match ticket will enable free entry into the Fan Park.
Organized by Aucto Creation, the NEUFC Fan Park will be filled with fun & frolic elements like local bands, renowned guest bands, community dance performances, laser & light shows, food court with yummy delicacies, game zones and various product stalls, including official merchandise of NorthEast United FC. A special ‘Fantasy World’, housed in an enclosed dome, with the night sky, dream zone & house of fame will be additional attractions for the NEUFC fans.

A special meet and greet zone inside the Fan Park will enable fans to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars. “This zone will get you access to the celebrities. So, come and click a selfie with your favourite star here, every match-day,” added Rajib Kalita, founder of Aucto Creation.

The Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium will host the home matches of NorthEast United FC on October 1 (FC Goa), October 25 (Jamshedpur FC), November 9 (Mumbai City FC), November 23 (Kerala Blasters FC), December 5 (Bengaluru FC) and on December 8 (ATK). The Indian Super League will announce the fixtures for the matches in 2019 at a later stage.
