Diego Maradona to coach Mexican second-division side Dorados
Manchester City gaffer Pep Guardiola had also spent six months with the outfit in 2006 as a player.
Diego Maradona is back into management as head coach of Mexican second-tier side Dorados. The appointment took place on 6th September 2018. His most recent job was in the UAE second division with Al Fujairah, which he quit in April after failing to gain promotion.
The Argentina legend takes over the role from Francisco Gomez who oversaw a winless start to the new season with three losses and three defeats in the opening six fixtures.
The club (formed in 2003) currently find themselves at the bottom of the 15-team table. The club also posted his arrival in Instagram, captioned as, "Welcome Diego to the Big Fish!"

An interesting fact worth noting is that Manchester City gaffer Pep Guardiola had also spent six months with Mexican club as a player in 2006.
