The 26-year-old striker completed his move to the Nerazzurri only a few days ago.
After succesfully roping in Romelu Lukaku from English giants Manchester United, Inter boss Antonio Conte believes that the Belgian forward will be an "excellent signing" for the club and expects the Belgian to work hard to settle in the city.
The former Manchester Unite striker completed a €80million switch from Old Trafford to San Siro on Thursday, after a controversial two years with the Red Devils at the Premier League.
In his first season in charge of the club, Conte believes the former Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, Everton and Manchester United striker will be a wecome addition to his squad. While the striker is yet to start for the Milan-based side, Inter won against LaLiga outfit Valencia in a penalty shoot out after a 1-1 draw in the Trofeo Naranja on Saturday.
"He also needs to work hard, both from a physical point of view and to get used to the way we're trying to go about things," Conte told Inter TV.
"He'll certainly be an excellent signing, we're really happy. He'll show great desire and commitment to get himself ready," he added.
Meanwhile, the Belgian striker also had kind words to describe his new boss as he said a few days ago, "he's the best manager in the world."
"He's somebody that can make players better all the time. You can see his record," Lukaku added.
After the win against Valencia, Conte had kind words on his side's character which he feels is another step in the right direction for the club.
"It was a difficult and important match against an excellent side who have had the same coach for a long time. Last season, they won the Copa del Rey against Barcelona, for example," the 50-year-old tactician quipped.

This is a very positive thing in terms of our mentality. I said to them that they could do better, but we are working hard to improve," he added.
"They're a bit tired because they are working from both a tactical and physical point of view in order to get up to speed. Tonight was another step forward in our development," Conte further added.
