Paavo Nurmi
Paavo Nurmi is a former Finnish middle-distance and long-distance runner. He was an exceptional runner as he set 22 official world records at distances between 1500 to 20000 meters. Also, Nurmi has won a total of 9 gold medals and 3 silver medals in the Olympics. Nurmi in his career of 14 years has never been beaten in cross-country events and 10000 meters.
In the 1920s when Nurmi was at his peak he was named the 'Flying Finn' or ' Phantom Finn'. In 2012 Paavo Nurmi was among the first athletes to be inducted into the IAAF Hall Of Fame. Jan Zelezny
Jan Zelezny is one of the greatest track and field athletes of all time. Zelezny is a former Czech athlete who competed in the javelin throw. He is a world champion as well as an Olympic gold medalist. The world record for the javelin throw of 98.48 meters was set by him in 1996.
Zelezny has broken the world record a total of 4 times in his career. He started his career in 1986 and retired in 2005. He is widely considered the greatest javelin thrower of all time. Zelezny has won 3 back to back gold medals in the Olympics as well as he has won the World Championship three times.
LeBron James
LeBron James is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA. He is considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time. He has previously played for the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers.
James started his career in 2003 at Cleveland Cavaliers after that he moved to Miami Heat in 2010. Usain Bolt is the world's fastest human. The retired Jamaican sprinter is considered the greatest sprinter of all time. Bolt is still now the world record holder in the 100 meters, 200 meters and 4x100 relay races.
Throughout his career, he has won a total of 8 Olympic gold medals. In these, he has 3 back-to-back gold in both 100 meters and 200 meters and two gold in the 400 x 100 relay. Bolt in 100 meters in 2009 broke his own record to set a new world record with a time of 9.58 seconds. In the 200 meters also he broke his own world record in 2009 and set a new world record of 19.19 seconds.
In 2012 Bolt set a new world record in the 4x100 relay as well with a time of 36.84. Usain Bolt clearly deserves a place on the list of 10-ten athletes of all time.
Major Dhyan Chand
Major Dhyan Chand was a former Indian field hockey player and Olympic gold medalist. Also, he is considered to be the greatest field hockey player of all time. He was an exceptional player with great ball control and was an exceptional goal scorer. In 1926 Major Dhyan Chand started representing India internationally and played until 1949. He was popularly known as ' The Wizard' or ' The Magician'.
The Wizard has scored more than 1000 goals both internationally and domestically, of these 570 were international goals according to his autobiography. He received India's third-highest civilian honour of Padma Bhushan in 1956. He won three back-to-back Olympics gold medals from 1928 to 1936.

Sachin Tendulkar
