Aryna Sabalenka vs Mirra Andreeva final prediction, betting tips & odds, head-to-head, preview: Indian Wells Open 2025

Sabalenka will face Andreeva in the Indian Wells Open 2025 final.
World No. #1 Aryna Sabalenka enacted a well-scripted revenge plot over Madison Keys as payback for Melbourne. Keys had defeated Sabalenka in the finals of the Australian Open in January.
Sabalenka put on a ruthless display to brush aside Keys, 6-0, 6-1, to return to her second Indian Wells final in three years. The 51-minute victory over the Americans was the shortest and the only other completed match to finish in less than an hour at Indian Wells this year. The other game was played between Diana Shnaider and Alycia Parks, which Shnaider won in 58 minutes.
The top seed’s victory over Keys was her 20th career win over a top-five player. Sabalenka converted five of six breakpoints and finished with 14 winners against 10 unforced errors. Keys was in the red with 10 winners to 18 unforced errors. The final points tally was 57-23 in favour of the victor.
Sabalenka claimed her fifth victory in their first meeting against Keys, snapping the American’s 16-match winning streak since she won the title in Adelaide.
Sabalenka’s opponent in the championship round, Mirra Andreeva, defeated world number two Iga Swiatek in a tough three-set match. Andreeva conspired to deny the Pole a consecutive Indian Wells final and a shot at a third trophy in Tennis Paradise.
Andreeva handed Swiatek her second straight defeat with the 7-6(1), 1-6, 6-3 win to go up 2-1 in their head-to-head. Previously, Andreeva sent Swiatek packing the last eight in Dubai.
Andreeva clawed her way back into the match after gifting the second set to Swiatek. The crucial break of serve in the decider helped settle the result in the Russian’s favour. The Russian teen has now become the tournament’s youngest finalist since Kim Clijsters in 2001.
Swiatek looked invincible until she ran into Andreeva and was a clear favourite as she looked to defend her title. The latest loss also sets Swiatek back in her efforts to reclaim the WTA No. 1 ranking from Sabalenka.

Preview
Aryna Sabalenka showed no signs of the rust that plagued her after Melbourne. She has yet to lose a set in the tournament after a strong comeback against Keys.
The Belarusian leads Andreeva 4-1 in their head-to-head. The sole loss came in the quarter-finals of Roland Garros last year. Sabalenka is 2-0 against Andreeva this season after dominant straight-set victories at Brisbane and the Australian Open earlier this year.

It was another chilly day in Indian Wells, with Mirra Andreeva beating Iga Swiatek to reach her second straight WTA 1000 final after Dubai. Andreeva claimed the Dubai Open title after taking down two top ten players in quick succession – Swiatek and Elena Rybakina to make the final.
Winning the Dubai Open final against Clara Tauson made Andreeva the youngest player to win a WTA 1000 event. Andreeva extends her winning streak to 11 matches after ending Swiatek’s 10-match run in California. This leaves Swiatek without a title since winning the French Open last May. That was also her last title-round appearance at a WTA event.

Match Prediction
Aryna Sabalenka and Mirra Andreeva will brace themselves for their third clash of the season. Just three months into the 2025 season, the duo have crossed paths in Brisbane and Melbourne, with the result going Sabalenka’s way on both occasions.
Andreeva will be wary of Sabalenka after watching the Belarusian whip up a storm in the semi-final round against Madison Keys. A career-high of No. 6 awaits the Russian if she can find a way past Sabalenka. Andreeva, who is playing the best tennis of her early career, will have to give her all against Sabalenka if she is to come out on top.
