Monte Carlo Masters 2024: Live streaming, TV channel, where and how to watch
This is the 117th edition of the tournament.
As the Mediterranean sun casts its golden glow over the azure waters, the Monte Carlo Masters 2024 beckons some of the top-tier tennis starts to its storied clay courts. The tournament rooted in tradition since 1896 will take place at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France.
Novak Djokovic, who clinched the title in 2013 and 2015 is looking for his third title. Djokovic will start his tournament against either Roman Safiullin or a qualifier. If he does well, he might play against Lorenzo Musetti in the third match. Musetti defeated the Serbian last year.
Andrey Rublev, the defending champion, will start his tournament against either Alexei Popyrin or a yet-to-be-decided qualifier. If he advances, he might play against Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals.
Carlos Alcaraz, the third seed, is back for his second Monte Carlo tournament after exiting in the second-round last year. He has a strong record on clay with seven titles. Alcaraz will begin against either Felix Auger-Aliassime or a qualifier. Looking ahead, he could face Ugo Humbert, the recent Dubai champion, in the third round.
However, in a major setback, Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from the tournament. The 11-time Monte Carlo Masters winner was expected to make his ATP Tour comeback in the Principality having not played since a defeat to Jordan Thompson at Brisbane.
Sumit Nagal, the only Indian player in the men’s singles, begins his journey as a qualifier. The Chennai Open Challenger winner starts his campaign against Flavio Cobolli.
