Novak Djokovic will make his 14th appearance at the US Open 2025 semi-final.

Every step Novak Djokovic takes, history seems to follow now. With his US Open 2025 quarter-final win over Taylor Fritz, the 24-time Grand Slam champion extended his record of reaching the semi-finals at all four tennis majors for the most number of seasons.

The Serbian maestro slammed the door shut on America’s last hope, outclassing World No. 4 Fritz 6-3, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 in a high-stakes quarter-final.

With that win, Djokovic now has seven seasons where he reached the semi-finals of all four Grand Slams—2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2021, 2023, and 2025. Roger Federer is ranked second in this elite list with five such seasons.

Djokovic also reached his 53rd Grand Slam semi-final, now holding the record for the most Grand Slam semi-final appearances in the Open Era, surpassing Chris Evert.

The Serb had matched Chris Evert’s 36-year record by reaching the semi-finals at Wimbledon 2025, before surpassing it at Flushing Meadows on Tuesday.
