Predicting all the title holders at WWE SummerSlam 2023
This is one of WWE‘s most anticipated pay-per-view events
The Biggest Party of the Year, WWE SummerSlam, is slated to be one of the most anticipated and electrifying premium live events in 2023. Summerslam is a wrestling calendar landmark thanks to its rich legacy of spectacular moments and memorable contests.
As the main event approaches, preliminary preparations and fascinating predictions have begun to emerge, leaving fans excited. After a successful Night of Champions event in Saudi Arabia, the Stamford-based company will go to Detroit on August 5th for the Biggest Party of the Year.
As a result, in the article, we will predict all the title holders at the WWE SummerSlam 2023. However, these speculations are not confirmed and can be changed at the last moment with major rumors building.
Roman Reigns retains the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam:
At the Night of Champions, The Tribal Chief completed 1000 days of holding the world title, leveling with WWE Hall of Famer Pedro Morales in a few days. After Jimmy Uso took out Reigns in Saudi Arabia, it can be predicted that the potential prospect for the Undisputed Universal title would be his own cousin at SummerSlam.
Roman Reigns could possibly face Jimmy Uso in the main event of SummerSlam; however, let The Bloodline storyline cook without stripping The Tribal Chief off the title. In another instance, if a potential WWE Superstar wins the 2023 Money in the Bank contract and cashes in on Roman Reigns, a title change can be witnessed, but the following prediction is implausible.
As of now, World Wrestling Entertainment is yet to announce or build up a storyline for The Tribal Chief title plans at SummerSlam. Only time will tell who will step up to Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in Detroit.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens retain the WWE Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam:
The Usos will likely be busy with their upcoming feud with Solo Sikoa and Reigns and will be out of the tag team title picture. On this past week of the Monday Night Raw episode, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were confronted by The Imperium faction.
Now since no other tag teams on the WWE roster are in hot rivalry with KO and Sami, the company will give opportunities to Judgment Day, The Street Profits, and other tag teams to be involved in feuding with the current tag team champions.
But irrespective of whosoever squares off against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, the company will not take the tag team championships from them at SummerSlam or anytime soon.

Rhea Ripley retains the SmackDown Women's Championship at SummerSlam:
Judgment Day's Rhea Ripley became a fan favorite quickly after defeating Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39 for the SmackDown women's title. Since then, she has retained her title against LWO's Zelina Vega in Puerto Rico during WWE Backlash and Natalya in Saudi Arabia during Night of Champions.
The Stamford-based company is yet to decide on a new rival for The Eradicator, but at SummerSlam 2023, we can anticipate that she will be keeping her SmackDown Women's Championship next to any opponent.
Asuka retains the Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam:
The WWE Universe was far from over with Bianca Belair's stint at the Raw Women's Championship. However, that changed at Night of Champions when Asuka defeated The EST to win the red brand title by misting her. Since Belair was drafted to SmackDown this year, WWE found a way to strip her off the Raw women's title.
After the 2023 Money in the Bank, a potential female superstar will try to cash in the contract on Asuka for the WWE Raw title, but the champion will look forward to keeping the title to herself for a while.
Matt Riddle becomes the new WWE Intercontinental Champion at SummerSlam:
The Imperium leader Gunther is the current Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion of WWE. However, on this past week's episode of Monday Night Raw, The Ring General interrupted Matt Riddle's promo.
Gunther asserted that he wanted Riddle to win the 2023 Money in the Bank contract and attempt to cash in on him. The Intercontinental Champion has defeated Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Rey Mysterio, and others to become the longest-reigning champion of the modern era.
But The Ring General's idea behind The Original Bro cashing the Money in the Bank contract on him is probably a tease for WWE Universe to witness a new Intercontinental Champion, and Matt Riddle could be that guy.
Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi hold the new WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam:
During this past week's edition of Monda Night Raw, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler became the new WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. However, Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi will attempt to take revenge on Rousey and Baszler by claiming their shot at the women's tag team title at the 2023 SummerSlam.
The heel duo of Ronda Rousey and Shayna have attacked Rodriguez and Shotzi on several occasions over the past few months in WWE. In addition, Rodriguez is a former WWE Tag Team Champion alongside Liv Morgan, but Shotzi replaced the latter due to an injury.
Now to dedicate a match to Morgan, Rodriguez, and Shotzi can start a rivalry with the current women's tag team champions to win them at SummerSlam ultimately.
Seth Rollins retains the WWE World Heavyweight Championship:
WWE fans are already in an awe-inspiring moment of Seth "Freakin" Rollins winning the new World Heavyweight Championship against AJ Styles in Saudi Arabia. Rollins' potential challengers at SummerSlam 2023 are Finn Balor, Edge, Cody Rhodes, and AJ Styles. Since the world heavyweight champion is a fan favorite, WWE won't take the title anytime soon.
Outside the company, The Visionary also has major plans for Marvel Cinematic Universe's Captain America: New World Order. Hence, if Rollins gets busy in Hollywood's schedule with the new Captain America movie, the plans for WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam are subject to change.
Austin Theory retains the WWE United States Championship:
After defeating WWE legend John Cena at WrestleMania39 for the United States Championship, Austin Theory is on cloud nine and seems an unstoppable force. During his US title reign, Theory has beat superstars like, Bobby Lashley, Cody Rhodes, Bronson Reed, Edge, and others.
Since the 2023 draft, only Sheamus has stepped up in line and failed to capture the United States Championship against Austin Theory. At Night of Champions, the 25-year-old star did not defend his US title, and a potential challenger at SummerSlam for him is yet to be revealed. The company is happy with Austin Theory's current stint and would likely keep the United States Championship on him, regardless of whosoever is against him.
