Brian Pillman Jr's arrival to WWE NXT confirmed
Brian Pillman Jr is a second generation talent, who worked with AEW since 2019 and was released in July 2023 after his contract expired. PWInsider reported that Pillman participated in WWE Tryout at WWE Performance Center. As Pillman was waiting to have his debut for months, his debut date was confirmed by the USA Network.

NXT released two hype video vignettes to promote the debut of Brian Pillman's NXT debut. At this stage, the USA Network confirmed that the rumors of Pillman joining WWE is true and he appeared at NXT No Mercy on September 30.

Since AEW was launched, a number of wrestlers from WWE moved to AEW. However a lot of stars from AEW have been joining WWE in the past two years. All the draws from AEW to WWE are considered as one of the best draws, such as Cody Rhodes, Gigi Dolin, Jade Cargill and now Brian Pillman.
