War Games matches are a special stipulation, where two wrestling teams go to war against each other inside the steel cage covering two rings. It was founded by Dusty Rhodes in 1987 and the match was widely held across various promotions such as NWA, JCP and WCW for a long time. WWE brought this match to the promotion in 2017 and made it exclusive for the NXT brand until 2021.

The success of the match stipulation brought the match to the main roster in 2022 and is currently retaining it as a part of the Survivor Series PPV. WWE has now booked a War Games match for Survivor Series 2023. Ahead of that, here we rank the top five WWE War Games matches.
