JD McDonagh sends a warning to Damien Priest

JD McDonagh was drafted to WWE Raw as a part of the 2023 Supplemental draft from NXT. He made his main roster debut brutally by attacking the former World Champion Dolph Ziggler. He was then found with fellow Irish man and real life-mentor Finn Balor on the Backstage multiple times.

As Balor and Priest developed tension within The Judgement Day, Balor started hanging out with McDonagh most of the time than The Judgement Day members. McDonagh then tried to join Judgment Day by favoring them and kept hanging out with the crew, although was not given a spot inside the stable.

JD McDonagh slowly gained the good fortune of the Judgment Day members, except Damien Priest. McDonagh tried to fix the MITB briefcase curse of Judgment Day and presented him with a brand new ‘Senor’ Money in the Bank briefcase. McDonagh also helped Priest and Balor win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship and earned the good fortune of them all.

When everything went well, McDonagh accidentally hit Damien Priest on his knee to cost their first title reign. Which made Priest get mad at McDonagh, Priest hung him on the wall to warn him not to get involved in Judgment Day’s business again. However, after Damien Priest and Finn Balor won the Tag titles back, McDonagh again started to hand in Judgment Day.

McDonagh helped Damien Priest to break Cody’s ankle with the steel chair and steps. He took all the shots that Judgment Day was supposed to have and gave all for the stable, although McDonagh is not treated well by Priest. It is known that Damien Priest is not a huge fan of the Irish Ace. At this stage McDonagh sent a cryptic message to Damien Priest.

JD McDonagh wrote on  X (fka Twitter) that everyone has his limits and he is getting close to his limits with a picture of him and Damien Priest.

JD McDonagh wrote, “Everyone has their limits. You’re coming close to mine,”

It seems like McDonagh will play a major role at Crown Jewel in the match between Damien Priest and Cody Rhodes in favor of Priest and will gain the full trust of Priest.
