WWE star Charlotte Flair ruled out of action for 9 months follow serious knee injury

Two weeks ago on SmackDown, Charlotte Flair had a match against Asuka, where The Queen had a discomfort on her knee and was checked by the referee Charles Robinson. Flair lost the match and an exclusive video of her released on the internet, screaming “knee” and the medical staff escorted her to the backstage area. 

Following that it was reported that Charlotte Flair was pulled from WWE live events the following week which she was originally scheduled to be a part-off. Stating that there was no update on how serious the injury is and how long will be out of action. However a major update on Flair’s WWE status has been revealed.

Charlotte Flair to have a long hiatus

Following the latest episode of SmackDown, WWE on X officially announced that Charlotte Flair suffered a major knee injury and requires surgery. Flair could approximately be out of action for about nine months. WWE also wrote that they will be releasing more information on her injury.

Based on the injury and recovery time, WWE fans on internet speculate that she might have torn her ACL or would have suffered a joint dislocation. However, there isn’t any particular update on it.

Charlotte Flair had a pretty long run with certain on and off from television, she featured on the top premium live events this year and delivered some of the great matches. This was Flair’s elaborate run in recent years as she transformed into an occasional wrestler.

Flair was involved in a long rivalry with Damage CTRL for months and has been constantly striving to capture the gold. However, her injury took her away for a longer time. We wish a speedy recovery for The Queen. and wish her to see her on television soon.
