WWE RAW Results, Highlights & Winners (February 05, 2024): We Want Cody!!!
Cody Rhodes defeats Shinsuke Nakamura, Kabuki Warriors retains tag titles, Becky Lynch qualifies for Elimination Chamber, Nia Jax assaults Rhea Ripley & much more!
The February 05, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw is finally over and it is one of the must seen episodes in recent times. This week’s Raw is filled with the hype on Cody Rhodes and it sets the fpundation for the upcoming Elimination Chamber PLE. A championship match, two qualifier matches, a special stipulation match, and a championship celebration was held this week. WWE Raw Summary & Highlights
Monday Night Rollins [Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre]
Seth “Freakin” Rollins kicked-off Monday Night Raw and said that it has been a hell of a week since last Friday and he could smell what is cooking and WWE Universe went for the #WeWantCody chants everywhere!!! Seth Rollins says that he too want Cody and calls out Cody Rhodes to the ring. Where, #RockySucks and #WeWantCody went wild from the WWE Universe.
Seth Rollins wants to cut the crap and looks to handle business straight. Rollins says that he need to hear it from Cody. He recalls what he said last week on Raw and SmackDown to say that he knew Cody is the best and wanted to face the best. Rollins asks for an answer and McIntyre interfered them.
Drew McIntyre came to the ring and says that they are perfect for WrestleMania. Drew says to Rollins that he hated Punk and he took him out. Now he could main event against Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40. McIntyre look to brainwash Cody, not to chose Seth Rollins and instead go and finish his story, for which he worked hard for two years.
Seth says that Drew already got the chance, but he lost. Drew says that Seth too has lost to Cody thrice. Drew says that it is a workhorse title and says that he held the title enough to prove he is a workhorse champion, but its Drew McIntyre’s time. Drew delivered a Glascokiss on Seth Rollins and Cody sent him out of the ring to end the segment.
Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Championship Qualifier Match- The New Day vs Imperium vs #DIY vs The Creed Brothers
Xavier Woods and Tommaso Ciampa started the match. Ciampa hit a shoulder tackle and Woods hit a drop kick. Woods tags Kofi in and he delivered a cross body. Now New Day work as a double team and punish Ciampa with a couple of combination. Ciampa hit a big boot on Ciampa and Giovanni Vinci tags in. Imperiun work as a unit and take down Kofi and Ciampa out.
After the commercial, Ludwig Kaiser punish Kofi Kingston. Kofi fights back and drop kicks Kaiser on the jaw. Woods tags in and takes down Vinci. Ciampa tags in and Julius Creed tags him. Gargano tags Julius and hit a springboard spear on Woods. Gargano and Ciampa dominate other teams. Kofi looks for a suicide dive, but Imperium took him down. Julius Creed hit a swantom-bomb from the top rope on everybody. Woods went for the top rope, but Ciampa caught him and hit a white noise on everyone. Now Body’s everywhere outside the ring.
Ciampa and Vinci fight on the top of the rope, where Kaiser joins and now the New Day. They took everyone out with a powerbomb. Brutus Creed hit a moonsault and looks to pin Vinci, but not enough. Vinci collides with Brutus, Gargano took Vinci, Kaiser takes Gargano, Brutus took everyone out.
Brutus locks Vinci with an Ankle lock and Julius clears the house taking out everyone, who looks to interfere, however everyone broke the submission at the same time. Brutus hit a Brutus Ball on everyone outside the ring and took Vinci to the ring to deliver the same, but DIY makes the tag and took Vinci with the Meet in the middle for the win.
Elimination Chamber Qualifying match- Becky Lynch vs Shayna Baszler
Becky Lynch and Shayna Baszler grapple and tackle eachother’s move. Baszler takes control with the knee to the nose. Becky fights back, by sending Baszler out and hit a baseballslide kick. Baszler sent Becky to the steel stairs, locks her hand on the steps and kicked it.
After the commercial, Becky Lynch and Shayna Baszler take the fight to the ring, where Baszler takes the control again with a kick to the face. Baszler measures Becky’s elbow, but Becky escapes. Becky delivered a missile drop kick and looks for a dis-armer, but Baszler pushed her out. Baszler took Baszler from the top rope with a slam and hit her knee to the face, but not enough.
Becky slams Baszler and looks for a Manhandle Slam, but Shayna counters with the Ankle lock. Becky escapes and sends Baszler to the apron. Both took the fight to the top rope, where Becky hit a Vertical Super-plex and looks for armbar, Baszler escapes. Both slap each other and Shayna locks with a Kirifuda clutch, Lynch countered it and hit a Manhandle Slam to win and enter the Elimination Chamber for the very first time.
Backstage Interview- Liv Morgan
Liv Morgan is back on Raw and she was asked about how she is feeling after return. Liv Morgan says that she looks for a revenge on Rhea Ripley for taking her out of action for so long. She will showcase a preview next week on Raw as she faces Zoey Stark in the Elimination Chamber Qualifier match.
Backstage [Adam Pearce & Drew McIntyre]
The Raw General Manager, Adam Pearce warned Drew McIntyre to not worry if he sees some zeros missing in his bank account as he will be fined, if he atracks someone who is not cleared to fight. While both speak, Rhea Ripley entered the ring, which seems totally unplanned and Pearce went to stop her.
Rhea Ripley challenged Nia Jax
Rhea Ripley came to the ring and said that she is done with the Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match and wants Nia Jax at the Elimination Chamber. The Raw General Manager, Adam Pearce stopped him and says that she got her wish to face Nia Jax for the Women’s World Championship at Elimination Chamber and asked her to leave the ring. Nia Jax came to the ring and brutally assaulted Rhea Ripley by taking down securities. Nia Jax hit an annihilator on Ripley and left Ripley laid down in pain.
Mixed Tag Team Match- Akira Tozawa & Maxxine Dupri vs Ivar & Valhalla
Alpha Academy in control as Akira Tozawa and Maxxine took Ivar out. Maxxine looks to finish it too soon, but Valhalla escapes. Tozawa tags in and both hit a cross body on Ivar. Valhalla breaks the pin. Ivar went for the top rope, Maxxine tries to distract, Valhalla hit a headbutt on her. Tozawa looks to fight Ivar, but Ivar hit a Body Slam from the top rope for the win.
Backstage- The Judgment Day
Priest and Balor discuss about facing Creed Brothers and DIY again and again. Dom came and informed that Rhea is doing well, but need some time. The Judgment Day motivate JD McDonagh to secure a win against The Miz next. Truth came from the back and said that he is now officially in Judgment Day as he went through both Pre-Initiation and Initiation last week. Everyone tried to explain that he is not in the faction and left one by one. Priest says that do anything and gave up. Truth finds his merchandise in the room and is happy seeing that.
The Miz vs JD McDonagh
Dominik distract The Miz right away, which made McDonagh take initial control of Miz. However Miz fights back and sends McDonagh face first to the ring post and delivered a backdrop. McDonagh was sent out and Miz hit a vertical suplex outside the ring.
Miz blew McDonagh’s face on the announcement table and sent him to the ring. While Miz try to enter, Dom pulled Miz leg and McDonagh pushed him out to hit on the announcement table to regain control. After the commercial, JD McDonagh hit a standing moonsault on Miz and went for the top rope, where R Truth came out with his music to deliver his merchandise to the fans.
This distracts McDonagh and Miz kept his knee up. Miz sent McDonagh out and kicks Dom to the barricade. While Dom tries to fight Miz, Truth wore the t-shirt on Dom and Miz kicked him out. Truth then gave McDonagh his cut and it made him lose focus, where Miz delivered the Skull Crushing Finale for the win.
Backstage
Adam Pearce and Imperium discuss about Gunther’s celebration, where Bron Breakker showed up. Both discuss about the Raw contract and Imperium walked away. It seems like Bron Breakker will be making his decision soon whether it is Raw or SmackDown to which he going to sign.
Gunther’s 600+ days Celebration
The stage is set for Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser introduces The Ring General to the ring. He’s got the pyro and is now has the mic in his hand. Gunther says that there is no surprise that Gunther is still holding the title. Gunther thanked Ludwig for the celebration setup, but he don’t want it anymore as it will come everytime for the 700, 800 and 1000 days, but still no one is ready to take the title away from him. Where, Jey Uso interfered.
The Ring General says that the last time he see him was when he eliminated Jey from the Royal Rumble. Jey and Gunther appreciate each other, but Gunther says that although he was a part of great tag team, but its comparatively less than half of Gunther’s accomplishment.
Jey says that he is a 1000 day Tag Team Champion and main evented WrestleMania and now looks to win his first singles championship. Gunther says that he is happy that he finally has some guts to step alone away from his family. Gunther pushed Jey and Jey took down Gunther. Imperium tried to assault Jey, but The New Day came for the save.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match- Kabuki Warriors vs Katana Chance & Kayden Carter
Asuka and Chance start the match, where Asuka takes initial control of the match with a takedown and rapid kicks to the face. Chance fights back and tags Carter in. Asuka and Kairi Sane went out, where Chance and Carter took both down and gain control before the commercial.
After the commercial, Kabuki Warriors took control of Carter with a double team. Carter fights back and Kairi tags in. Carter tags Chance in and she is fired up. Chance took Kairi in her control and stomped her on the back. Kabuki Warriors soon regained control with a double team work and delivered a code breakker, backdrop.
Chance and Carter work as a duo and landed knee first on Asuka. Carter and Chance delivered their finishing maneuver, but Kairi saved. Asuka and Kairi hit their finishing move, insane Elbow on the bridge on Chance for the win.
Interview- Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn was interviewed before Raw in the empty arena, where he addressed his loss against Drew McIntyre last week and states hat he is not an underdog anymore and claims that he is a championship contender.
Bull Rope match- Cody Rhodes vs Shinsuke Nakamura
Nakamura played mind games, where he threw the bell on Cody’s hand and kicked him on the face. Cody fights back and Nakamura tries to escape from him to the audience side, but Cody pulled the rope and made Nakamura hit on the barricade.
After the commercial, both stood on either side of the ring post with ropes in between. Cody pulled Nakamura to the ring post and then to the ring. Cody looks for a Cody cutter, but Nakamura pulled the rope. Shinsuke stomps Cody and he vented out, Nakamura dragged him to the apron and to the ring to continue his punishment. Nakamura took cody on the turnbuckle and hit his ribs and kicks him on the head. Cody fights back Nd lock him in the figure four lock. Nakamura used the cow bell on Cody to escape the lock.
Cody is fired up after the commercial, he lands elbow strike on the face and hit a disaster kick. Nakamura quickly look to turn things up, and looks for a Kinsasha, but Cody hit him with a Cody Cutter. Cody hit a bionic elbow and Nakamura hit a overhead kick.
Nakamura looks for a kinsasha and Cody hit a pedigree, but not enough. Cody took the cow bell in his hands and Nakamura misted on his face. Cody with his eyes blinded hit a Cross Rhodes, but Nakamura kicked out. Nakamura looks for a Kinsasha, but Cody blocked with thr cow bell pulled the ropes between his legs for a couple of low blow and delivered a Cross Rhodes for the win.
After the match, Drew McIntyre came from the back and attacked Cody Rhodes. Drew hit a Claymore on Cody and this ended this week’s episode of Raw.

- #DIY wins the Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Championshio Qualifying match to advance and face Tyler Bate & Pete Dunne on SmackDown.
- Becky Lynch defeated Shayna Baszler to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match.
