WWE produced some remarkable Premium Live Events in the year 2024.
The global juggernaut of sports entertainment, WWE, ushered into a new era in 2024, with corporate personnel like Triple H and Nick Khan at the helm of decisions. The new management proved to be game-changing with the success seen by the company, especially their Premium Live Events.
From resurrecting classic pay-per-views to taking existing shows to the next level, the new regime produced one of the most spectacular PLEs this year. With a new year approaching, here is a look back at Khel Now’s ranking of the top seven best WWE Premium Live Events of 2024:
7. Bash in Berlin
WWE headed to Germany, this year for ‘Bash in Berlin.’ This was their first venture in the German capital after an extended period with the event marked by marquee matches.
The event featured an explosive tag team civil war between Judgment Day, Randy Orton bringing the fight to Gunther for the World title, and the now heated rivalry between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens unfolding. However, the major highlight of the event was the gruesome Strap match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, which had the German fans captivated to their feet.

6. Money in the Bank
WWE Money in the Bank saw the rise of Tiffany Stratton, clinching the name-sake briefcase, death-defying moments in the ladder matches and CM Punk once again costing Drew McIntyre a chance to become World Champion. Alongside Trish Stratus as the host, star power was at its peak.
But the biggest moment that made the PLE iconic was the surprise return of John Cena. However, it was the announcement of Cena’s retirement plans that left everyone emotional and gearing up for ‘The Last Time’ set to commence in 2025.
5. Elimination Chamber
Elimination Chamber PLE has been upgraded to a major show in the last few years. This year, WWE took it to another level by bringing it to the land down under Perth, Australia, as an extravagant stadium show. The event saw two physically battering Elimination Chamber matches with WrestleMania implications.
The PLE was headlined by the hometown hero, Rhea Ripley, who put away the dominant Nia Jax in the main event title match, making it one of the most intriguing shows of 2024.

4. SummerSlam
WWE came to Cleveland, Ohio, for the biggest party of the summer, SummerSlam, this year. The event was a roller coaster ride of twists, turns, betrayals and the crowning of new rising stars like Bron Breakker and LA Knight. The main event featured Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa battling for the WWE title and will always remain memorable for the grand return of Roman Reigns, months after losing his championship at WrestleMania 40.
3. Bad Blood
The decision to resurrect a classic pay-per-view like WWE Bad Blood was a masterstroke by Triple H and his regime. The event was marked by multiple returns, the unlikely partnership of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes and even the shocking one-off return of The Final Boss, The Rock at the end.
However, a major highlight of the opener for the show was the conclusion of the CM Punk Drew McIntyre rivalry inside Hell in a Cell, which was one of the most physically battering yet instant classic showdowns.

2. Backlash France
The WWE Universe in Lyon, France, exceeded all expectations as one of the most vocal and passionate fans, even surpassing the United States audience at WWE Backlash France. The fans were excited for the entire show, with their decibel levels at the highest and even to the point that the entire arena was visibly shaking.
The top-notch excitement level of the WWE fans combined with superstars performing like Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Damien Priest and Bianca Belair made the show one of the biggest events for the company in 2024.
1. WrestleMania 40
The grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania, lived up to its grandeur and rich history in 2024. With a huge star power featuring stars like The Rock, who competed in his first match since 2016, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, Logan Paul, and many others, it was a show for the ages.
WrestleMania 40 featured some of the most spectacular bouts, such as The Usos competing against each other, the Biggest Mania tag team main event and top-notch women’s division matches. The biggest highlight of the show was Cody Rhodes finishing his story following a dramatic and captivating main event match against Roman Reigns. The moment Cody became the new World Champion would surely be remembered for decades to come, and it made WrestleMania 40 a memorable Premium Live Event of all time.
