That window happens to coincide with WWE Royal Rumble 2026, set for Saturday, January 31, in Saudi Arabia. With no Fozzy shows booked during that period, fans have begun connecting dots and revisiting the possibility of Jericho making a surprise appearance at one of WWE’s biggest events.

Why is Chris Jericho’s schedule raising eyebrows?

Fozzy’s newly announced tour itinerary begins with a stretch of United Kingdom dates from February 6 through February 21, followed by a limited run of U.S. performances later in May. Notably, January is completely clear, with no concerts scheduled anywhere in the world.

That absence has fueled online chatter, particularly because Royal Rumble weekend often relies on surprise entrants and legacy appearances. Jericho, a former multiple-time world champion and one of the most decorated performers in wrestling history, would instantly qualify as a headline-making return.

Adding further intrigue, the report notes that Fozzy is also not booked on two major AEW pay-per-view dates; December 27 and March 15. While not directly tied to WWE, those gaps have added to broader speculation about Jericho’s overall availability during key wrestling weekends.

Despite the growing buzz, it’s important to emphasize that there is currently no confirmation of Jericho appearing at the Royal Rumble. WWE, AEW, and Chris Jericho himself have made no announcements regarding negotiations, creative plans, or appearances.
