Roman Reigns fans might not get the OG Bloodline reunion

Roman Reigns made his long-awaited return to the WWE at SummerSlam 2024, and ever since then, he has been embroiled in what can be described as a family civil war.

After Roman Reigns lost the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40, ending his 1316-day reign, Solo Sikoa has gone rogue.

He has removed Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman from the picture by taking them out with the help of the new Bloodline faction he has created, featuring the Tonga brothers and the “Werewolf” Jacob Fatu. Roman Reigns is obviously having a tough time fighting off the numbers game on his own.

At Bad Blood 2024, Roman Reigns will have Cody Rhodes in his corner when they take on the team of Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. However, what happens after that?

Cody Rhodes needs to be out of this Bloodline drama and have his own storylines for the WWE Undisputed Championship.

As for Roman Reigns, he needs to go to his “Wiseman” Paul Heyman and together they need to figure out a strategy to bring back his Bloodline – the one that dominated WWE for the last four years. But what if WWE is not going in that direction? What if the OG Bloodline isn’t uniting at all?

This might be the case, given the recent surprising turn of events. Jey Uso won the Intercontinental Championship in last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, and as of right now, Sami Zayn is still pursuing the World Heavyweight Championship from Gunther.

Even though WWE can still involve them in the Bloodline story if they want to, without creating much ambiguity, in this article, we will be discussing the direction Roman Reigns must take if the OG Bloodline is not going to reunite at Survivor Series.

Here are five directions for Roman Reigns to take if the OG Bloodline doesn’t unite:

Reunite with his Wiseman

The character of the Tribal Chief is not complete without his Wiseman. So, whether it is the OG Bloodline reuniting or some other alliance, none of that can ever happen without Roman Reigns getting back together with Paul Heyman first.

So, the first step in kayfabe would be to bring back Paul Heyman, who was written off from WWE television after getting taken out by the rogue Bloodline when he refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as the Tribal Chief.

Form an alliance with Jimmy Uso

Jimmy Uso might have had issues with Roman Reigns in the past, but he was still on his side at WrestleMania 40. Also, it was not Roman’s idea to kick him out of the Bloodline when Roman Reigns lost at WrestleMania. So, despite their past problems, they have managed to stay on the same page.

And now, they will have an even bigger reason to be together, as Jimmy Uso was taken out of action by Tanga Loa, who viciously attacked him, taking him out for an indefinite period in kayfabe.

This gives him a strong reason to fight off The Rogue Bloodline even if he and Roman don’t always see eye to eye. We think Jimmy Uso will still be the first person on Roman’s team who will most likely take on The Rogue Bloodline in the Survivor Series WarGames match.

Get Hikuleo to help Roman Reigns

Hikuleo has reportedly signed with the WWE at the same timeline as Jacob Fatu, yet he is yet to make his WWE debut. This probably means WWE has something bigger planned for him. And though it would make sense for him to join Solo’s faction more, here we are discussing a situation where the OG Bloodline doesn’t unite at all.

This could mean that WWE might consider Hikuleo to be on Roman’s team in Survivor Series after all. Paul Heyman can be the one who convinces him to help Roman Reigns at Survivor Series. This will also do wonders for Hikuleo, as he will be debuting to a crowd that will be extremely behind him from day one, launching him into babyface superstardom territory instantaneously.

Continue his alliance with Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes, even though we don’t want to see him as part of the Bloodline story anymore, is probably still going to be the one helping Roman Reigns at Survivor Series as well. This will only piss off Kevin Owens and Randy Orton more, giving them all the more reasons to turn on Cody in the future. This would also mean that we will finally get some rivalries in Cody’s WWE Championship reign that are about him and not the Bloodline.

As for why Cody Rhodes will help Roman Reigns again, WWE will once again come up with something clever to justify it, just like they did at Bad Blood. Or maybe they have something bigger planned for Bad Blood that can justify Cody Rhodes helping Roman Reigns at Survivor Series in itself.

If all that doesn’t work, WWE can always use Paul Heyman to strategically negotiate a deal with Cody Rhodes, therefore convincing him to be in Roman’s corner at Survivor Series.

One vs All

The chances are significantly low that WWE will ever do something like this, because this might make for entertaining television, but it will ruin the credibility of all the new stars that WWE are trying to build with The Rogue Bloodline, especially Jacob Fatu.

In this scenario, we neither get Jimmy Uso nor Paul Heyman coming back. Cody Rhodes also refuses to help Roman Reigns, as it is not his family or his problem to begin with. Roman Reigns realizes that all of what is happening to him is an outcome of his misdoings in the past four years and therefore decides to take care of his business all by himself.

After being outnumbered and beaten down by the Bloodline for several weeks, he still challenges them to a 4-on-1 handicap WarGames match at Survivor Series or a Bloodline rules match for the Ula Fala against Solo Sikoa at Survivor Series or Crown Jewel, which will again be basically a handicap match.

And well, despite being outnumbered, Roman Reigns, being Roman Reigns, still becomes the one to take down the entire faction by himself and stand tall, reclaiming his Ula Fala and putting an end to the family civil war.

It’s worth noting that Roman Reigns has been the face of the WWE for a decade now, and his character has been built to be one of great strength and resilience. If anyone can pull off a feat like this, it’s Roman Reigns. However, it’s still a long shot, and the more likely scenario is that he will need some help to take down The Rogue Bloodline.
