‘The Scottish Warrior’ is currently in a feud with CM Punk
Drew McIntyre is one of the highly talented professional wrestlers on the active WWE roster. McIntyre has been on the top card since his return to WWE in 2017. He played a major role during the COVID-19 pandemic, which made him the face of WWE throughout the pandemic era.
McIntyre has been currently in the prime of his career since the beginning of the year and has been having feuds with almost half of the roster in Raw. He is currently out of action due to his elbow injury, however, he is doing the best that he can do the microphone to continue his storyline feud with CM Punk.
Earlier this month, Drew McIntyre signed a new contract with WWE. The Rock announced his signings with WWE saying that he is “The Man of his Words”, which gained a lot of attention to McIntyre’s new deal. Now The Scottish Warrior himself has given the details behind his contract, addressing the important aspects of his new deal.
Drew McIntyre talks about his WWE deal
Drew McIntyre recently appeared for an interview with ‘Daily Mail’ earlier this week, where The Scottish Warrior was asked about what was the important part of his new WWE contract. To which McIntyre said that being happy with his life and family is the most important for him. He said that when it comes to creatives, he is in control of his creative and has a lot more leeway.
Drew McIntyre said,
“Being happy, at this point of my life and career all that matters is I’m happy and I can get time with my family that I’ve not had for 20 years.”
“When it comes to creative, I can only control the controllable. As we’ve seen, almost for the past couple of years, there’s been a lot more leeway given to talent, a lot more collaboration. It’s been awesome, as you can see across the board.”
McIntyre continued saying,
“A lot of people breaking out and an opportunity for myself to show what I can truly do. I know that it’s always going to be a case of roll with the punches, peaks and valleys, but there’s more to it than just that. We’ll see what the future holds, I just know that I’m in my prime and Drew McIntyre is not going to stop wrestling.”
