The 2026 edition will emanate from the Middle East.
With the 2025 PLE schedule concluded, WWE is now turning its attention to 2026, which will kick off with the Royal Rumble PLE. The event is scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of Riyadh Season, and will feature talent from both the Raw and SmackDown brands.
This will be the first traditional Royal Rumble held outside North America and the 14th WWE event in Saudi Arabia as part of the company’s decade-long partnership supporting Saudi Vision 2030. It will also be the first PLE in the country since the 2025 Night of Champions.
As usual, the winners of the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches will earn the right to choose which championship they want to challenge for at WrestleMania 42. Ahead of the event, Oddschecker released updated betting odds for the men’s Royal Rumble match, highlighting the current favorites to win.
The OTC is the current betting favorite

At present, Roman Reigns leads the betting odds to win, listed at 2/1 (28%). Bron Breakker is second with odds of 11/4 (18%), while Sami Zayn holds third place at 10/1 (9%), followed by Gunther and LA Knight.
WWE has already hinted at a trilogy clash between Reigns and Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE title, while there have been reports of Breakker battling CM Punk for the World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania.
