The final PLE ahead of WrestleMania will emanate from Chicago.
The Road to WrestleMania heats up after the Royal Rumble, reaching its final stop on February 28 with the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. The 16th Elimination Chamber event will air live from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
The PLE will serve as the final step before WrestleMania, determining the challengers for the two remaining World Champions after the Royal Rumble winners have made their selections. However, the PLE might be used to set up additional matches, and here we will take a look at them.
4. Jade Cargill vs Tiffany Stratton/Charlotte Flair

WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill has been having a poor title reign due to the lack of opponents on the Blue brand. Infact she had her first title defense last night on SmackDown. Even plans for Mania are up in the air due to complications in Bianca Belair’s recovery, which has sent the planned Cargill vs Belair match up in the air.
Two of the leading ideas reportedly under consideration are Charlotte Flair challenging Jade, or Tiffany Stratton stepping up to face the champion instead. One of these two stars might win the women’s Chamber match to secure the spot against Jade.

3. Finn Balor vs Dominik Mysterio

A match that was initially planned for last year’s Mania was between Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor’s Demon gimmick. However, fans found out about the match after the release of Unreal Season 2. Fans have been demanding a push for Balor, and are exicted of his recent push after Balor battled CM Punk for the World title last month is set for a rematch at the Chamber PLE.
The constant tease of the rift between the Judgment Day members and the recent teases of Finn turning face might be used to set up the match between Dirty Dom and Finn this year. WWE could have Dominik cost Balor the World title rematch at Chamber to set up their Mania clash.
2. AJ Lee & Maxxine Dupri vs Becky Lynch & Nattie
AJ Lee made her highly anticipated WWE return this past Monday and baited Becky Lynch into defending the Women’s Intercontinental title at Elimination Chamber. Later in the show, the storyline between AJ and Becky crossed paths with the one going on between Maxxine Dupri and Nattie, as Lee came to aid Dupri from Nattie and was ambushed by Becky.
While the promotion has used such tag team matches ahead of a big PLE to set up an eventual title clash, this time it looks like they’re going in the other direction, having Becky defend the title first, while teasing the tag match.
Notably, despite the title match happening earlier than expected, the long-term direction reportedly remains unchanged, which might mean a rematch and the eventual tag match for a later PLE.
1. Drew McIntyre vs Cody Rhodes

Despite fan fatigue, a match that the promotion is most likely going to run back is between Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes. The only difference is that this time, is that McIntyre is the one holding Undisputed gold, while Rhodes is the challenger.
After winning in the qualifier match last night, Cody is likely going to win the men’s Chamber match, similar to how John Cena did last year after initially losing the Rumble match. The only thing the promotion is doing that can rile up some interest is the addition of Jacob Fatu and how they insert him into the match.
