Predicting the winners of WWE King and Queen of the Ring 2024 quarter-final clashes on 5/17 SmackDown

The upcoming editions would reveal the bracket for finals of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments

WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE is closing in and is all set to take place on May 25, emanating from the Jeddah Superdome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Alongside some intriguing matches as part of the line-up, the event would be highlighted by the coronation of a new King and Queen of the Ring in the proud kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Following the series of first-round and quarter-final matches taking place across RAW, SmackDown, and WWE live events, many WWE superstars fought tooth and nail for the golden opportunities, but only a few made it towards the end of the competition. While the RAW sides for both King and Queen of the Ring semi-finals have been determined, the SmackDown side is yet to be the same.

Here we take a look at the possible outcomes for the last four matches in the quarter-final round of the King and Queen of the Ring tournament on the SmackDown side:

4. Jade Cargill vs Nia Jax

One of the most hard-hitting matches for the quarterfinal round of the Queen of the Ring tournament will see a Storm and an Irresistible Force collide in one-on-one action.

Nia Jax would battle the threat of Jade Cargill. Following a huge back-and-forth match between two of the dominant forces in WWE, the outcome could see Cargill plant Jax to the mat and win the bout to elevate her ongoing momentum of being built as the next top WWE star.

3. Bianca Belair vs Tiffany Stratton

While one side could see Jade Cargill emerge victorious, the other match in the tournament could witness Queen of the Ring being scheduled for Tiffy Time. Of course, it is no secret that a match between Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair is a dream showdown, and WWE would want to showcase it at a major PLE for a better impact.

With that thought in mind, the second quarterfinal match can see Tiffany Stratton pick up a huge win over a top star like the EST of WWE and advance to the semi-finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament.

2. LA Knight vs Tama Tonga

The dangerous Tama Tonga is set to collide against the captivating LA Knight in one match of the quarterfinal round in the King of the Ring tournament.

Despite having a huge fan base and momentum by his side, LA Knight’s fame could find himself outlasted by the numbers game of The Bloodline members, Solo Sikoa and Tanga Loa who could run interference to assist Tama Tonga in securing the win.

1. Randy Orton vs Carmelo Hayes

The final showdown planned for the quarter-final round in the King of the Ring tournament will see WWE’s Apex Predator Randy Orton square off against Carmelo Hayes. While Orton is already an established veteran of the game, Hayes has been envisioned as a top star of the future.

With that vision in mind, WWE could book Carmelo Hayes to pick up a huge upset over a bonafide future WWE Hall of Famer in Randy Orton and proceed to the semi-finals of the tournament.
