WWE RAW Results, Highlights & Winners (March 11, 2024): Sami Zayn wins the Gauntlet

Kabuki Warriors retained, Sami Zayn wins the Gauntlet, Six-pack Ladder match for Tag Team titles announced and much more!
The March 11, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw is officially over and it is one of the must watch episodes of recent times. The show featured a number of big announcements and great matches. A title is defended on the line and two matches got confirmed for WrestleMania 40. Get to know what happened on this week’s episode of WWE Raw as we came up with the complete match summary, highlights, results and winners list of the show.
WWE Raw Summary & Results
Face to Face: Drew McIntyre & Seth Rollins
Drew McIntyre kicks off Monday Night Raw and blames Seth Rollins that he got inserted into the Tag Team Championship because he want to main event & says that he is selfish. He says that the bigger picture is not Seth, Cody or Roman, but The Rock. He says that it is not Seth Rollins business as it is Cody’s problem.He says that he wanted to be the World Championship to make everything relevant.
Seth Rollins interrupted him and says that he wants Claymore from Drew McIntyre like last week. So he is making it simple, by standing in the position. Drew says that he gave him an advise to concentrate on his business, but he didn’t take that. If Drew was a champion, he will only concentrate on his business for Raw. Seth is selfish. Rollins says that he thought Punk was the hypocrite, unless he met Drew McIntyre. He blames McIntyre that he have won none without the help of others.
Seth says that however he got the opportunity and will defend the championship at Night 2. Drew is pissed off, but he doesn’t wanna beat him up as wants him from WrestleMania. Drew left the ring, Rollins stops him saying that Rollins doesn’t gives attention to Drew because, he is on the bottom of his attention list. Drew tried to attack, but retreated.
Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan
The match began with both tackling each other’s move. Lynch took Liv down with a take down & Liv took Lynch with a shoulder tackle. Both slap each other and tackling game continues. Becky sent Liv out and went for the baseball slide, but Liv esapes and hit her with a suicide dive.
After the commercial, Liv Morgan takes doen Lynch with a series of shoulder tackles and hit a corner splash. Lynch fights back with a corner kick, took Liv down and hit a slide kick. Lynch went for the middle rope and Liv hit a code breaker.
Both attack each other and Liv hit another Code Breaker with the help of the springboard. Both went to the apron, Becky tried for a DDT & Suplex but Liv counters and hit a sun set powerbomb outside the ring. Liv tried to pin her, but Lynch kicks out. Becky looks for a Manhandle slam & Liv counters with a rolldown. Becky kicks out and hit a Manhandle slam, but Liv scrolled out to avoid pinfall.
After the commercial, Liv locks Becky with a Cicilian stretch, but Becky counters with a armbar. Liv hit a DDT & Oblivion, but Lynch scrolled out. Lynch fights back and hit Manhandle Slam on Liv for the win.
Face to Face- Rhea Ripley & Becky Lynch
After the match, Rhea Ripley came to confront Becky Lynch. She got yelled by Luv before she enters the ring. Ripley congratulated Becky for beating Morgan, gives everything in the ring, and prove she is the best, but she knows that Ripley is better than her.
Ripley says that if she doesn’t walk into WrestleMania 100%, she will no longer be The Man, but a disappointment. Becky recalls what she said before Royal Rumble. She said that Ripley was good, but Lynch is great & nobody gets chance to take down Becky.
Adam Pearce & Nick Aldis with major announcement
Nick Aldis & Adam Pearce are on the backstage to announce the tag team match for WrestleMania. Priest & Balor will defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship in a Six Pack Ladder Match and the tag teams which will be featured will be determined in the upcoming shows with a qualification match.
Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae vs Ivy Nile & Maxxine Dupri
Indi & Ivy start the match, with Indi taking the advantage. Candice tags in and Ivy tags Maxxine, LeRae tags Indi, Dupri took down Indi. She looks for a reverse caterpillar, but LeRae sledged her hurting her emotions. Indi hit a big boot on her and got the win.
Backstage
The Judgment Day met Raw & SmackDown General Managers asking about why they booked a 6 pack tag team match. They said that this is to prove Judgment is the greatest tag team. But Judgment Day claims that they already are. Pearce says he is looking to talk with Miz & Truth. Priest asks that they need Truth & Miz tonight. Truth shows up and Priest asked to make the match official tonight.
Cody Rhodes Interview
Michael Cole stood in the middle of the ring and presents the video of what happened on SmackDown. He calls out “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes. Cole asks why he slapped The Rock, as Rock is the director of TKO and The Boss. Cody says that it is better to slap the boss. Cole asks about why they accepted a tag team match before his title match & why Seth Rollins.
Cole said that Rollins was the last one to beat Roman in a one on one match, eventhough it is a disqualification, he never received a title shot. He wants to be the top dog & also had a feud with Rollins before. He asks why Seth? Cody says that people change and they see a lot of changed people, he also had Jey Uso got changed and they worked as a tag team winning the titles.
Cody says that it is not about Cody vs Roman Reigns. Cody got emotional saying that he can’t handle the title to his father, but can handle to his mom & his wife.
Cody cuts the promo against Roman Reigns, saying that they are in the final chapter of the story & Michael Cole will say that Cody Rhodes is the new Undisputed WWE Universal Championship for the first time and has finished his story. Cody have an hug with Cole and the segment ends.
Backstage
Becky Lynch met Liv Morgan backstage and both have an handshake. Nia Jax attacked both. She threw Liv over the box and hit a Manhandle slam to Becky Lynch over the table.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match- Kabukki Warriors (C) vs Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark
Zoey Stark & Asuka start the match and both tackle each others move. Asuka took down Zoey & Zoey hit a drop kick. Baszler got tagged in and locks Asuka with the Ankle lock. Kairi Sane got tagged in and she takes down Baszler. Stark got the tag and sent Kairi & Asuka out and jumped over them from the top rope.
After the commercial, Zoey Stark is fired up as she takes control of Kairi with tremendous athleticism. Zoey took Kairi to the top rope, bur Kairi head butts her to hang upside down & stomped over hear. Shayna & Asuka got tagged in and Asuka takes control. Asuka & Kairi with a double team, takes Baszler in control. They tried for a pinfall but Zoey stopped the fall.
Zoey hit a super kick on Kairi and tags Baszler in to deliver a Z360 and knee to the head. They went for the pinfall, but Asuka breaks the tag. Shayna locks her head with a Kirifuda Clutch, but Dakota Kai pulled her leg to the rope. As Baszler is distracted Kabuki Warriors takes control and hit their finisher, Reverse DDT & Insane Elbow for the win.
Backstage
Andrade met Judgment Day backstage and asks where is Dom. Ripley says that Dom is not here & if he comes, they would love to have an interesting conversation with him. (Teasing of adding Andrade to The Judgment Day). Andrade says that he will come after Dom is here and left. Priest then went on to have their match against Truth, which is next.
Damian Priest vs R-Truth
As Priest enters the ring, he attacked Truth right away. The match began & Truth tries to fight back, but Priest over powered him. Priesr threw Truth out of the ring and DIY came to the ringside to support Truth. Priest looks for a Razer’s Edge, but Truth escapes sending Priest face first to the ring post & took him down jumping from the apron.
After the commercial, Priest hit a Flatliner and went for the top rope. Truth pulled the ropes and hit a series of shoulder tackle, 5 knuckle shuffle, Attitude Adjustment and STF on Priest. The Judgment Day attacked DIY outside the ring and Truth jumped over them. As Truth enters the ring, Priest hit him with the Hit the Lights Chokeslam for the win.
After the match, The Judgment Day continues to attack DIY & Truth. Priest hit a chokeslam on Ciampa over the apron. Finn Balor hit the Coupe De Grace on Gargano.
Jey Uso challeged Jimmy Uso
Jey Uso talks about Jimmy Uso. He says that he came to Raw for a fresh start, but Jimmy & The Bloodline won’t let him do so. Jey Uso challenges Jimmy Uso for a singles match at WrestleMania 40.
Backstage Interview- Gunther
Gunther is interviewed backstage and he is askwd about is he feeling over confident during his reign. Gunther says that he won the IC title, he took almost everyone and elevated the title like no one. He will be looking forward for the winner of the Gauntlet.
Gauntlet match
Ricochet vs JD McDonagh
Ricochet and JD McDonagh kicks off the Gauntlet match. McDonagh twist Ricochet’s hand and Ricochet took McDonagh down with a leg sweep. Ricochet took McDonagh down with a drop kick. McDonagh countered Ricocchet’s cross body with the knee and took Ricochet out of the ring to punish him ssnding to the barricade. McDonagh continues to dominate with a slam and standing moonsault.
Ricochet tries to fight back with a springboard elbow and top rope cross body. Ricochet looks for a springboard moonsault, but McDonagh counters with the knee. Both exchange strikes and planted McDonagh’s head to the ground. McDonagh soon countered his next move with a Spanish Fly.
After the commercial, both stand on the apron and Ricochet drives McDonagh neck first to the apron. Ricochet enters the ring and JD break the count out on 9. Ricochet hit a moonsault on back of JD and hit three overhead slam, but not enough for a fall. McDonagh fights back and took Ricochet to the top rope. Ricochet pushed McDonagh down and hit a shooting star-press to eliminate JD McDonagh.
Ricochet vs Bronson Reed
Ricochet waste no time and went on to attack Reed. He took Reed down, and hit a over the top rope dive. Reed however took control with a powerslam and senton. Reed took Ricochet down and delivered a Tsunami on him for the win.
Bronson Reed vs Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn enters the match next and took Reed down straight away with a moonsault over the barricade. After the commercial, Reed ran through Sami Zayn. He took Zayn down and look for a senton, but Zayn escapes. Zayn hit an elbow to the head, but Reed caught and took him down to hit an elbow drop. Reed took Zayn to the top rope, but Zayn hit a Sunset flip powerbomb to pin Reed.
Sami Zayn vs Shinsuke Nakamura
Bronson Reed in frustration attacked Sami Zayn and hit him with a Tsunami. Nakamura tried to finish Zayn super quick with a Kinsasha, but Zayn escaped with a roll down. Nakamura took Zayn out of the ring and sent him over the announcement table with a knee strike.
After the commercial, Nakamura continues his dominate the match and kicks him on the chest. Sami escapes and hit him with a Blue Thunder Bomb, but not enough for a pinfall. Nakamura hit Sami wirh a heel kick and went for Kinshasha, but Zayn escapes. Nakamura tried to run back for a Kinsasha, but Zayn hit an Helluva Kick following him to advance.
Sami Zayn vs Chad Gable
Gable allows Zayn to recover and took Zayn with a suplex and Ankle lock. Sami sneaks out, and Gable chased him and locks the Ankle lock. Zayn counters his lock and pushed him to the steel stairs. Both took the fight to the top rope and Gable hit a overhead superplex. Gable climbs the top rope & Sami stops him. Gable pushes Zayn down and hit a moonsault, but Zayn has his knees up.
Both exchange hands and slap each other. They throw down hands, Zayn looks for a Blue Thunder Bomb & Gable locks him with an Ankle Lock. Sami reached the rope to break the lock.
Gable looks for a German Suplex, but Zayn hit him with an Exploder Suplex. Sami looks for an Helluva kick, but Zayn countees with the Ankle Lock. Sami is so close to tap out, but Gable hit a German Suplex. Gable went for a Moonsault, bur Zayn escapes. Sami hit a Helluva kick, but Gable counters with a rollup. Both are running out of gas, but Gable is fired up. Gable hit a German Suplex and again locks him with the Ankle lock. However Sami Zayn rolls out Sami Zayn and pinned Gable to win the Gauntlet.
Raw Results
- Drew McIntyre & Seth Rollins had a face-off.
- Becky Lynch defeated Liv Morgan by pinfall & Rhea Ripley confronted Becky Lynch after the match.
- Nick Aldis & Adam Pearce announced a Six-Pack Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 40.
- Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae defeated Ivy Nile & Maxxine Dupri.
- Nia Jax attacked Becky Lynch & Liv Morgan, resulting in a Last Woman Standing Match between Lynch & Jax next week.
