Roman Reigns’ WWE status takes major turn amid Solo Sikoa's refusal to rejoin Bloodline

The OTC was betrayed by Solo Sikoa this past Monday.
‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns returned to Monday Night Raw on August 17 in Buffalo, New York, to address the Bloodline drama. In Reigns’ absence, Jey Uso defeated Solo Sikoa in a match where the stipulation was that if Solo lost, he would have to rejoin the faction.
Unfortunately for Solo, he lost after Jimmy Uso aided Jey in securing the pin. The stage was set for Solo to rejoin the Bloodline in Reigns’ presence. However, what transpired was Sikoa defying the orders, spiking Reigns, and teaming up with LA Knight to take out the Usos and Reigns.
Similar to past segments involving The Bloodline, many fans have been left confused about whether Reigns is a heel or a babyface, as he has displayed traits of both. However, The OTC acted entirely like a heel in Buffalo, and the crowd reacted accordingly.
When Solo Sikoa spiked Roman, the arena erupted, making it clear who the fans saw as the babyface in that moment. On the note of Reigns’ WWE status on programming, we now have a new update.

According to a report from False Finish, Roman Reigns is listed as a heel internally. However, the report does not mention whether the pivot happened during this week’s Raw or before.
That said, it confirms that Roman Reigns is back as a heel with the Bloodline by his side. Reigns iconic heel turn as the Tribal Chief began in mid-2020 and saw him embark on a multi-year dominant championship reign.
Reigns’ run not only redefined modern storytelling in WWE but also took the promotion to new heights. Reigns now has to respond to the betrayal and the beatdown at the hands of Solo and Knight.
He is also scheduled to defend the World title on the September 14 edition of Raw in Mexico City against the winner of the ongoing tournament to crown the number one contender. On the other hand, an earlier report has also hinted at him battling LA Knight at Money in the Bank.
Fans are currently waiting to see how Reigns and the Bloodline respond next week. Additionally, the show will also feature the semi-final matches of the aforementioned tournament.
