WWE has witnessed some worst botches over the years!

WWE is one of the largest professional wrestling promotions, where highly talented professionals perform stunts, maintain their character and give some interesting storylines. Since it is a sports entertainment, the scripts are practiced prior and the execution is done in front of the live crowd.

Although the stars practice their parts before the show, some of the unfortunate botches happened on a number of occasions. Here we take a look at what is a botch and the general causes and effects of it.

What is a botch in WWE?

The botch in WWE means failing an attempt to perform a scripted move or missing a line by mistake during a promo. Generally, a botch in WWE could happen by mistake, miscalculation, and error or through mis-judgment. In a number of situations, the botches went unnoticed, however, some were noticed widely and became a debate. Most of the botches are harmless when it comes to a missing line during a promo and confusing with the line. However, when it comes to in-ring both it sometimes results in serious injuries or even death due to mis-executions.

Causes of botches

The pro-wrestling veterans believe that the common cause for botches is inexperience or miscommunication between two wrestlers when they fail to coordinate with each other. A missed line or a management malfunction could be rectified by the production side.

Aftermath of botches

Botches occasionally turned out to be extremely dangerous, which turned out into a serious injury or even a loss of career or even a loss of life.
