What happened at the 2024 WWE King and Queen of the Ring Press Conference?

Saudi Arabia is hosting the upcoming edition of SmackDown and the Live PLE

WWE is all set to host the 2024 King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia this Saturday on May 25, 2024. WWE has announced a total of five matches for the show including three championship matches and King and Queen of the Ring Tournament Finals.

Ahead of the big event, WWE hosted a Pre-show Press Conference at Boulevard City in Riyadh on May 23, 2024. Here is what happened at the King and Queen of the Ring Press Conference.

Logan Paul promised to beat Cody Rhodes fair and Clean

Logan Paul and Cody Rhodes were on the show to hype their Undisputed WWE Championship match. Cody had a great reception, as WWE Universe sang his song with the theme, however Logan Paul was booed out. During the event, Logan introduced his brass knuckles and handled it to Michael Cole. Logan promised that he will be beating Cody fair and clean to have the title on his shoulders.

Liv Morgan attempted to attack Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch was about to wrap up, where Liv Morgan tried to attack Becky from the back. However Becky was ready for Liv’s cheap shot. Becky lifted the title over her shoulder and asked Liv to take a shot on her face, but Liv retreated. Becky then cut a promo backstage addressing the situation and said that Liv can’t beat her in a fair fight, that’s why she came to attack her from behind.

Sami Zayn got a huge reception

Sami Zayn got a huge reception from the Arabian WWE Fans, they hummed his song to show that the people got his back.

Triple H announced King and Queen of the Ring Incentives

Triple H announced that the winner of the King and Queen of the Ring Tournament will be receiving a world title shot at SummerSlam 2024. He said that the winner can call their title shots for the world titles of the respective brands for the WWE & World Championship.

Triple H said,

“The winner of the King of the Ring tournament and the winner of the Queen of the Ring tournament will both go on to receive championship matches with the title of their respective brands. So, they will both get World Title shots, either WWE or World Title, at SummerSlam.”
