‘The Grandest Stage of Them All’ concluded on April 20 in Las Vegas!
The Stamford-based promotion delivered as promised on the 41st edition of WrestleMania, which emanated as a two-night event on April 19 and 20, at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The ‘Grandest Stage’ saw multiple jaw-dropping moments with new champions crowned.
In the main event of Night One, Seth Rollins emerged victorious in the triple-threat match against Roman Reigns and CM Punk as Paul Heyman betrayed both Punk and Reigns to align with Rollins. Additionally, the World Tag Team titles, the United States title, and the World Heavyweight title changed hands.
On the other hand, Night Two of the show was headlined by Cody Rhodes and John Cena as the two stars battled with Cody’s Undisputed WWE title on the line. Cena was able to emerge victorious with a little help from Travis Scott as he created history and became the 17-time WWE World Champion.
The second night also saw the return of Becky Lynch, who teamed up with Lyra Valkyria and defeated Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. On the other hand, Dominik Mysterio triumphed in the fatal four-way match to become the new Intercontinental Champion, while Iyo Sky retained the Women’s World title in the triple-threat match.

Backlash 2025 will be the next PLE after WrestleMania 41
The 2025 edition of the Backlash is the next Premium Live Event (PLE) after WrestleMania 41, which will emanate on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The 2025 edition is also promoted as Backlash St. Louis.
The 20th edition of Backlash will feature John Cena‘s first appearance at the event since 2009. It will also be his last Backlash appearance as he is set to hang up his wrestling boots at the end of 2025.
John Cena and Randy Orton are the only superstars officially advertised for WWE Backlash 2025 so far, and with Orton attacking Cena on the fallout April 21 show of Monday Night Raw, we might see the two legends collide in St Louis.
If the match is made official, it would be the first time that Cena is walking in as the heel, while Orton plays the babyface, a total reversal of their classic rivalry dynamic.
