Seth Rollins lays out rules for CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre
On 7/29 episode of Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins laid down the one referee’s rule for Drew McIntyre’s WWE SummerSlam battle against CM Punk. Monday night’s program began with Rollins, McIntyre, and Punk in an in-ring segment, during which Rollins reminded the two that they could not make contact until the PPV.
McIntyre attempted to get Seth Rollins to support him, but Rollins stated that he despises McIntyre as much as he does Punk. Rollins then stated that the only rule for the match is that they both must listen to him and that countouts and DQs would be at his discretion.
Rollins said, “You two will listen to everything I have to say. I call the shots. I’m the boss. I’m the law. I count to three when I want to count to three. You tap out when I say you can tap out. If there’s a countout, I might count to 10, I might count to 20, I might count to a million. Disqualifications? Referee’s discretion.”
However, if they do not listen to him, he states that he will not be pushed around. The first holder of the current WWE World Heavyweight Championship said:
“I’m not some little referee that you can push around, I’m a spiteful little bastard and I will put your head in the dirt.”

CM Punk doesn’t want any “help” from Seth Rollins
While there was a spat between Punk and Rollins, with Punk stating that he didn’t want Rollins’ assistance at all, McIntyre took over the mike.
He told CM Punk that he needed to worry about McIntyre on Saturday, but Punk responded that Drew was the third wheel in the match.
To conclude the show, Drew teased Punk with the bracelet he had recently taken from him, which had the names of Punk’s wife and dog, AJ and Larry.
Punk became agitated, but was not permitted to make contact with McIntyre or the bout would be called off.
