“The Viper” is all set to face the “In Ring General”

Former WWE Champion Randy Orton could break a multi-year streak in his match at the WWE Bash in Berlin 2024 premium live event.

Two of the finest in the world will square off as World Heavyweight Champion Gunther comes to Europe to face Randy Orton.

Gunther won the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE SummerSlam by defeating Damian Priest, but his route includes a contentious King of the Ring victory over Orton in Saudi Arabia.

After Gunther won the World Title, The Viper surprised the WWE Universe by coming on Monday Night Raw and claiming that Adam Pearce had given him a championship shot at Bash in Berlin, with the winner staying on Raw and the loser leaving for Smackdown.

The Ring General embraced the chance, paving the way for a historic World Heavyweight Title Match in Germany.

Randy Orton hasn’t won a singles match at any PLE for over 1218+ days

Randy Orton’s last winning at a PLE was against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 37 Night 2. Wyatt and Orton were at odds in different ways for years, but their animosity was reignited in October 2020 when The Fiend targeted him during his WWE Championship match against Drew McIntyre.

That resulted in a match between them at TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs in December, but it was not your typical contest, as The Fiend challenged Orton to a Firefly Inferno match. Because of The Viper’s ferocity, the cloaked figure first regretted his decision.

He won the match by putting The Fiend on fire, but that wasn’t enough for Orton, who later attacked his opponent with an RKO, poured him in gasoline, and threw a match at him.

That resulted in an extended hiatus for The Fiend, but Randy Orton was unable to eliminate Wyatt’s alter ego since he still had to deal with Bliss.

She helped keep the drama going while also attempting to exact revenge on Orton for what he did to the creature she had grown enamored with.

Bliss once scorched The Viper’s face with a flame, but it wasn’t enough to put him out of commission, so she started playing mind games and participating in his bouts.

She employed a variety of tactics to get into his brain, including appearing on the turnbuckle during one of his matches and hacking the Thunderdome to have her face on every screen during another.

Bliss also found a method to physically hit Randy Orton, forcing a dark substance to seep out of his lips many times.

All of this culminated in a fight between Orton and Bliss at Fastlane, when The Fiend reappeared, but not in the form the WWE Universe had come to expect, but as a charred and disfigured figure.

The Fiend assisted Bliss in defeating Orton at Fastlane, and the much-anticipated fight between the two men was officially announced for WrestleMania.

On The Grandest Stage of Them All, the masked figure set out to avenge The Legend Killer, not only for burning him alive, but also for destroying The Wyatt Family four years prior.

Orton once again managed to win, but since, then he hasn’t won a single match.
