Roman Reigns is advertised on the 8/9 episode of WWE SmackDown
Roman Reigns made his long-awaited return at WWE SummerSlam 2024. The Original Tribal Chief made his appearance in the main event Bloodline Rules match between Cody Rhodes & Solo Sikoa for the Undisputed WWE Championship, which he lost at WrestleMania 40.
Reigns ran to the ring and without a delay attacked Solo Sikoa with a Superman Punch & a Spear. Roman then nodded his head to Cody and left the ring to watch Cody retain his Undisputed WWE Championship, after the final Cross Rhodes.
After his impactful return at SummerSlam, WWE has officially announced that Roman will make his first SmackDown appearance this week on August 09, 2024, at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States after four months. At this stage, here we take a look at whether Roman will be back with Paul Heyman & Jimmy Uso on SmackDown.
Paul Heyman & Jimmy Uso to return on 8/9 smackDown?
Both Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso were betrayed by Solo Sikoa in the absence of Roman Reigns. There was a big rumor before SummerSlam that Jimmy had been medically cleared and was expected to make his return before the biggest party of the summer. However, Jimmy’s return didn’t happen.
WWE would have kept Jimmy’s return delayed due to Roman’s big return at SummerSlam. As the Original Tribal Chief is back in the town, there is a high chance that Jimmy could be making his return along with Roman Reigns.
On the other hand, Paul Heyman has been actively posting Roman’s WWE return and the SmackDown return announcement on his Instagram story. Heyman’s social media activity positively hints that Wiseman could also be on this week’s SmackDown along with the Original Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.
Everything around Heyman and Jimmy is just speculation and nothing has been confirmed regarding their return since then. However, their return is highly anticipated and has a high possibility.
Jey Uso on Jimmy Uso’s return
Jey Uso in a recent interview with The Ringer addressed the potential return of Jimmy Uso saying that he will be back soon on WWE TV.
Jey said, “My brother will be back soon. I want to see him on TV. Like, if you really pay attention to Jimmy, Jimmy [is] funny as hell. He started shining on SmackDown for a little bit, then he got hurt. I’m excited to see his character back on TV. How he is with Roman [Reigns] now. Even with me.”
Considering all these, there is a great chance that both Paul Heyman and Jimmy could make their return alongside Roman Reigns, pretty soon.
