Indian sprint sensation, Animesh Kujur, has been the talk of the town, having broken multiple national records in the ongoing season. In 2025, the 22-year-old has clocked his lifetime best in all events he competes in and has been in red hot form.

Animesh has completed in multiple events this season, including the Dromia International Sprint and Relays Meeting 2025 in Greece as well as the Asian Athletics Championships 2025 in Gumi, South Korea.

He will next be in action in the u-23 men’s 100m race at Monaco Diamond League 2025 on Friday, July 11. This will be his first-ever Diamond League appearance, and he will also be the first Indian sprinter to compete in the category.

Additionally, he also shares the national record in the men’s 4x100m relay alongside Gurindervir Singh, Manikanta Hoblidhar, and Amlan Borgohain. They set the record at the 2nd edition of the Indian Open Relay Competition in Chandigarh, earlier this year, clocking a best time of 38.69 seconds.
