Badminton Asia Championships 2023: Full schedule, fixtures, results, live streaming details
28 countries have confirmed their participation at the continental event.
Badminton Asia Championships 2023 is set to be held from 25 April to 30 April at the Al Nasr Club in Dubai. A total of 32 players will make it to the main draw from each category (28 already placed and four coming from round-robin qualifiers). Lee Zii Jia and Wang Zhiyi are the defending champions in the men’s and women’s singles respectively.
PV Sindhu was the lone Indian to clinch the bronze medal in the previous edition. India has a good representation in this edition but the top shuttlers have struggled to find form in 2023. Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty in the men’s doubles will be spearheading the Indian contingent. Saina Nehwal withdrew from the tournament in the last moment.
