Badminton Asia Championships 2025: Live streaming, TV channel, where and how to watch?

Satwik/Chirag and Treesa/Gayatri’s withdrawal is a massive setback for the Indian Contingent
The Badminton Asia Championships 2025 will take place at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Ningbo, China, from April 8 to 13. It is held annually and has a total prize of $500,000 (Rs 4,28,94,175). The 2025 edition is the 42nd edition of the Badminton Asia Championships.
From an Indian perspective, all eyes will be on Lakshya Sen, who will look to reach deep in the tournament. He has a comparatively easy draw among the other Indians. The Commonwealth Games champion will face Chia Hao Lee in the first round, even though he lost the two meetings against the Taiwanese, he still should be the favourite to win.

Thier first meeting was in 2019 at the German Open Junior where Chia Hao won a close contest. Sen will most probably face Loh Kean Yew in the second round. He enjoys a 6-3 head-to-head against him and has won the last two meetings. In the quarter-final, he will face Shi Yuqi.
On the other hand, India’s other challengers in men’s singles has a tough draw with Kiran George facing former world champion Kunlavut Vitidsaran in the second round, while Priyanshu Rajawat will face Kodai Naroka in the second round and HS Prannoy will have a ticket against Chi Yu Jen in the second round as well.
PV Sindhu also has a favourable draw considering head-to-head and matchups, however with the recent form and the injury concerns it will be difficult for Sindhu to reach deep.

India faced a huge setback as their best medal prospect Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty had to withdraw from the tournament due to Chirag’s back injury. Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand has also withdrawn from the championships.
